2015 S 90D Charging port

I could open my charging port with the button on the charger or push to open before, but now it won’t open unless I open with the display console?
Did the new FW release messed this up?

I'm getting an error on my car saying the charge port sensor is broken, its unable to detect if it's open or closed

Yesterday Tesla mobil service replaced my charging port door for total $251.01
After everything is completed the charging port door works like it should. But after that my car says “unable to charge because the charging port is not detected”. The Tesla technician couldn’t figure out what wrong so he sent my car to Tesla service center for further investigation LOL
