18x8 vs 18x10.5 wheels for daily driver MYP

hello sorry if this is the wrong place for this question. did not see a specific section for wheel/tire questions.

currently setup is stock myp with 21 ubers.

want comfort and better efficiency and still be able to some spirited driving on occasion.

i’ve searched and see plenty of ppl who daily the martian MW05 18x8 and get greater efficiency and comfort, but i have yet to see if anyone has gone 18x10.5 for daily driving, only track use.

here are the specs

• Sizes: 18x10.5"
• Offset: +40
• Bolt Pattern (PCD): 5x114.3
• Center Bore: 64.1
• Construction: Forged
• Weight: 22.5lbs
• Load Rating: 2,204 lbs (1,000 KG)

will there be any issues running these daily? i tried to find pics to see if the setups are flush and if there’s any rubbing or any other issues but no real info. mainly track day pics.

any insight or advice appreciated.

Im on 20x10 +28 275/40/21 and 20x11 +34 295/40/21 on for daily, no issues for me when i was on coilovers. But now on air. But i noticed there was a difference in comfort from the stock 21' uber

That’s with uberturbines with 275/35 up front and 295/35 rear. And I had +20 spacers all around

Nice setup. Are the wider tires less stretched on the wheel? Any change in performance/handling? What about range impact? What tires are you running?
