10,000 mile supercharging credit question?

Curious if anyone had any clue if the free 10,000 supercharging credits is tied to the Tesla account or to the VIN of the vehicle? My sister had the reservation but I purchased it in my name/registration, etc. So I've been in her account this whole time and saw the Supercharging credit hit the loot box. I transferred the car to my Tesla account but the miles didn't appear in my loot box. Since I was the original registered owner and only moved accounts, could I get the miles still since its the original car and owner?
