Experiences with Model S beyond 100K, 200K miles...

Hello all, looking to buy a Model S, probably a 75D or 90D around 45-55K from Tesla. Looking for experiences of drivers who have these with high mileage. How has it been? I have a serious commute and want to know if they are built for such mileage. Anyone have a Model S with 100-150K miles...

    2017 Model S 75D - Fully Loaded - $64,000

Extremely interested in vehicle. Looking for a 75d!

Bought CPO Model S yesterday and now Tesla says they made a mistake and will not honor the Price

I thought I was nuts seeing a Model S drop in price for about $12,000 or so that I JUST missed. Don’t blame ya for being pissed.

    WTB: Model S 75D or 90D

Looking for a 75D or 90D. Would be nice if it had premium upgrade package, smart air suspension and sub zero package. Prefer models with the new bucket seats in the back, bucket seats in back row, with higher raised middle seat. AP2 definitely preferred. Prefer Deep Blue or Midnight Silver.

    Model S 100D < $65,000 by end of 2019?

Next time you get that $850 case of wine, share a bottle. I need to drink with more people like you!

    Model S 100D < $65,000 by end of 2019?

Good point, some of the 90Ds seem attractive, BUT I like the newer back seats (buckets on end, raised in middle) as opposed to the bench back seats that were replaced in 2017 I THINK, maybe 2018. I have been looking at some of the 90Ds though as well. Haven't seen anything to make me jump yet.

    Model S 100D < $65,000 by end of 2019?

I can deal with that trade off if it's a 100D with everything else. I'm trying to figure out how to get into a 75D (which is a fine car), but my commute is way too long so 100D would be nice, just gotta be patient and save some more.

    Model S 100D < $65,000 by end of 2019?

I'm ok with that, I LOVE the current interior and if you buy FSD, they swap out the hardware to AP3. Old battery tech that gets me to 300+ miles is fine by me. When new battery techs makes a 150kWH or even a 120kWH possible, people will ditch their "old" 100Ds left and right and I'll be...

    Model S 100D < $65,000 by end of 2019?

A decent 75D with AP 2.0 with free SuperCharging and the refresh can be had for about $60-$65K via private seller or so. I'm guessing if I am somewhat patient, by September - December of this year I'll be able to get a 100D with all of the options I want including the following: Premium...

    Ordered CPO 2015 Model S 90D

I think on the sticker that shows battery size there is a part number. From what I understand, v3 is the best version of the 90kWh battery, but wanted to know if there was some way to ascertain that via VIN instead so I don't buy any CPO cars with the old battery pack.

White on White P100D - anyone seen one?

Hate to bring up threads from the past, but damn, this is NICE!

Model S range and interior update imminent?

I hope you are right about the interior refresh, but normally for cars they are every 4-5 years or so, the lash refresh was in April 2016 so next expecting that, but was expecting 120kWh batteries after 75D was discountied. Really wanted some used 100Ds out here, I highly suspect you’ll be able...

WTB: 75D with AP 2.0 & Free SC

Thanks, was a day late to this car. He has entered into a purchase agreement already with someone else. I am now looking for someone just like that now. It's a beautiful car.

Buying from a Private third party

Ugh, so lucky. I know what exact car you are talking about. If you ever want to sell it, please contact me! I REALLY wanted that car.

    WTB: Model S 75D with AP2 & free SC

No red cars please. Prefer Deep Blue with grey or black seats or Midnight Silver with black seats. Next generation please. Figured ash wood in deep blue would be nice. Dark in the silver one. AP2 and free SC would be great. No rebuilt titles.

WTB: 75D with AP 2.0 & Free SC

Have airline miles, so willing to fly to wherever to get car and drive it back.

Should have clarified that, Model S.

    Is AP2 worth $10k?

This is a good question and kinda in the same thought process as you. As long as AP1 can drive on the I-95 & the NJ Turnpike, I am happy camper, but if one day soon (3-5 years) I can literally touch the wheel or anything, that would be great to move on to AP2.

    2016.5 Model s 75 $46k

    Model S90D Battery Degradation?

My daily commute is about 120 miles, so I might be in the same position so that's why I am little reluctant to get a 90D, but might stick with a 75D instead. Hopefully, I can bug Tesla enough if my battery degradation goes down by more than 10%.

Looking for the same car in about the same price range.

    Ordered CPO 2015 Model S 90D

Tell me more about this 90D version battery version? I want a 90D and had heard of some degradation issue, is there a way I can verify what version of the pack it is with the VIN?
  27. GoEagles997

Upgrading to a larger capacity battery, is it possible?

Also to be clear, I was specifically talking about the 90D packs. Not any other size.

    Very informative!

Upgrading to a larger capacity battery, is it possible?

Some of these threads I have read about the 90Ds degrading a lot faster had me a little scared, I’ll do some research about it. Thanks for the info!

Upgrading to a larger capacity battery, is it possible?

I drive at least 30K miles a year and 'm a little concerned now about how much battery I would have after 5+ years after purchasing a MS from Tesla's CPO program. I plan on getting a 75D.

Question about Model S CPO warranty (maintenance)

Thanks for clarification on the warranty, I assumed the 2 year / 100,000 mile warranty meant I had either 2 years or an ADDITIONAL 100K miles for the warranty, not to when it gets to 100,000 miles. Saved me some heartache. I drive about 30K miles a year anyway so I was going to choose the...

Model S range and interior update imminent?

I really hope this lowers the pricing for used & CPO Teslas. Will definitely see is pricing gets even lower on some of the 2016 refreshed MS.
  35. GoEagles997

Model S range and interior update imminent?

Disagree slightly with this. There are tons of people who commute a lot 30-60 miles each way, or who are used to “filling up” infrequently and having to do so 3x times a much is potentially deal killer for a decent amount of people. Guarantee you this though, Tesla is definitely going to...

Finding a Good Sales Advisor for CPO

At this point, it would be nice to speak to ANY adviser. I submitted a request for a call back on a few models that I was interested in to get service history, etc. No phone call as of yet. Seems like I have to put down $2,500 just to speak to someone about potentially buying a car.

Model S 75D owner from Chicagoland

I live in Philadelphia, it gets cold here, but no where as cold as Chicago, tell us how you have used the car in the cold there.

A great experience buying used through Tesla (1/3/19)

Nice write up. I really think some of the 2014-2016 Model S cars are great values, but after seeing the refresh, it's hard not to ignore.

    CPO AutoPilot Questions

This is why I think I might be OK with a AP1 car. I just want it to handle some highway driving, etc. Can't imagine regulators allowing completely autonomous driving, etc., while I sleep in the car. BTW, I guess someone else asked dealer the same since he recently took pic of the auto pilot...

    Verifying AutoPilot Software Enabled?

Sadly, I don't even know if they would know how to do this. I don't want to drive 40 minutes away just to see that's not enabled. If enabled, this is a heck of a deal for a 75D with AP 2.0, free SC and EAP enabled for under 50K.
  42. GoEagles997

    Verifying AutoPilot Software Enabled?

Hello all, I am looking to get a 75D and saw one for a really good price AP 2.0 HW and verified with Tesla that it has free Supercharging. However, I want to see if the EAP software was purchased/enabled for Model S. I called customer service and representative was able to verify the SC, but...

    CPO AutoPilot Questions

Thanks for your response, I definitely was looking to ensure I had free supercharging with my purchase. From what AP 1.0 does, sounds good, but AP2 sounds like it has potential.

    CPO AutoPilot Questions

Hello, I am thinking of getting a 75/75D that I confirmed has AP 2.0. Website says it has Enhanced AutoPilot, but my question is, will it has Full Service Driving capability at some point with a free software update, or would I have to pay $7,000 at some point in time. It's my understanding...
