ouch, someone at work has a Karma and his is in the shop too. He's got a blog on which he mentions how its been in the shop more than its been with him. I've never been bullish on Fisker. I think their design is great, but thats about it. It'll probably fail.

lolwut, now I'm intrigued!! I was hoping all 4 were newer Betas since they might have tuned the interior a bit. If 2 a the older ones I wonder if they are just there to show the difference and change from Beta to RC.

lol, you want a random Model S sighting. here you go. I live in Palo Alto and see them all the time especially on Page Mill Road. This one was driving in front of me , debadged and pretty dirty. This was taken about 6 months ago before the Beta event in Fremont.

Is there any advantage to putting down a deposit for a Model S now? Tesla is sold out of its 2012 model year production and hope to ramp up to 20,000 cars in 2013. Right now the reservation numbers are upto 8000 which means anyone putting a deposit now will get one in 2013 anyway. I doubt...

The customer rep I spoke to said the Beta interior was "very close" to what the production will be like. No drastic changes are planned from it. Though it is interesting that on the site itself (teslamotors.com) they have stopped showing pictures of the interior in the Gallery or on the options...

Why should someone be ok with having to wait longer to charge their cars when there is no technical reason preventing them from doing so? This is akin to saying Apple releasing 2 iPhone models a $100 apart in price and the cheaper one take 10 hours to charge the more expensive one takes 2...

Tesla won't be supporting supercharging for the base model which leaves me pretty disappointed. The only reason why they won't do it of course is to drive you to buy the 60 or 85 Kwh models which is pretty sad since I can't justify spending 10K extra just for that option though it would be nice...

Thats the word I was looking for. The beta interior is very "retro" looking. I'm still high on this brand and the car itself. Hopefully this will not make it in its current state into final production.
