Yep, I second this.. you might not have as many selections but at least it'll have some kind of protective qualities. Look into STEK PPF wraps... they've got multiple color selections. I almost went with the blue DynoChrome PPF but then the Ultra Red color came out.

I called the SC to move the pick up date to today instead of Easter Sunday and they happily obliged. I'm fully expecting gaps and cosmetic issues, but hopefully it won't be too obvious!

You should be able to bring a cashier's check... I wouldn't pay online now especially if you aren't happy with what you see during delivery.

Got my VIN last night and is scheduled for pick up on Easter Sunday :) The $5k price reduction never showed up on my MVPA but since my loan offer expired today, I had to resubmit and it showed the lower price so it worked out. I tried to drop by the SC today but they didn't have my car on the lot.

MS Plaid, white interior, 19" wheels, and yoke steering. I kept the basic autopilot as I would much rather subscribe than pay the $15k upfront. Maybe it's because I am in the LA area and it might be based on location and cars available... oh well!

I'm in the same boat and they sent me an e-mail that it has been upgraded to the new Ultra Red color free of charge.

It's not so much the heat of the car when I get in it.... it's the radiating heat that I feel while driving from the sunroof. After I added clear ceramic tint, the heat pretty much disappeared. FWIW, my daily commute is 2-3 hours a daily.. so it's not like a quick 15 minute drive home from work.

I had put ceramic tint on my previous S' sunroof... definitely gonna add that on the one coming in.

Yeah, I'm having a hard time seeing it as well. Unless the gaps are glaring at me or this is some show car, there's better things to worry about. Besides, it's easy to forget things with the headrush it gives while driving it. But that's just me and to each their own :)

I paid for FSD on my previous MS and even got the beta FSD software, but it is not worth it. I just ordered a new MS and have no plans of paying for EAP or FSD... At least not at it's current state. I'll wait a little longer and just subscribe if it becomes more usable. Basic Autopilot is great...

In my previous Model S, I bought the FSD when it was only $3k and it took forever to get the “beta” before it released to the public. I regret that purchase and wish I had just subscribed instead. Is there a difference in versions for the paid FSD vs subscription-based FSD?
