Late 2016 / Early 2017 S Owners: How Are Your Daytime Running Lights Holding Up?

Late 2016 / Early 2017 S Owners: How Are Your Daytime Running Lights Holding Up?

Just had both headlights replaced for the second time under warranty for the yellow eyebrow on my 2018 Model S. One light is now revision F and the other G. Hopefully these versions have fixed the issue. The original set went bad after about a year and a half. Replacements also lasted...

    Supercharger - Elizabethtown, KY

I was looking forward to a supercharger in Elizabethtown to top off before getting on Bluegrass Pkwy to Lexington. I still get a little range anxiety on the Bowling Green to Lexington segment during the winter months.

Driver's Side Headlight Low-Beam Remains on with Car Off

@Landrover360 - Tesla mobile service came out to the house and changed the defective headlight. Worked for about a year (till about 10/2019), then the LED trim started going out on the light. They ended up fixing that under warranty as well. Hoping that the last headlight replacement came...

Web App for Viewing TeslaCam Videos

@aleagle - The previous/next buttons work when there are multiple events loaded. You will see events listed in the "Select Event to Play" dropdown. If there are multiple events loaded but not going to previous/next - post what operating system and browser you are using. That will help to...

I'm still considering making it open source as several have been wanting to help contribute that way. There's also a Docker container version of the application that can run locally. It still requires Internet access to download some of the libraries but I'm looking to make all that local...

Web App for Viewing TeslaCam Videos

@marshalldavids - Sorry to hear your car was stolen and hopefully no damage. Glad the app was useful for you to easily search through the videos! I built this for cases like that. As far as recording the multiple views into one video file, I'm on Mac and have followed these steps from Apple...

I think I have that same adapter and same issue. Trying to see how to select multiple files in the iOS interface - but no luck. In meantime, I'm looking to see if there are any workarounds I can do from the app side. Yes, would be great if the in-car browser just had access to the USB drive!

@LordMelkor - Can you verify your videos will play individually by playing with the operating system default player or VLC app? Also, what version of Windows? If still having issues, you may upload a single video file somewhere and DM me the location and I can test/troubleshoot when I get a...

Yes, I'll be adding some browser compatibility checks to the site to make it more obvious. The videos previously worked with Chrome - but some recent Tesla updates changed that. Seems that Safari or Microsoft Edge browsers play these videos the best.

@satheesh.net - Glad you like the web app! I'm working on a local version that users can run on their own computers. In meantime, there is a Docker version - if familiar with that framework. The Docker container still requires some external dependencies - so will need Internet access. It...

Web App for Viewing TeslaCam Videos

@rad1027 - There are several "apps" with similar names. The web site I created, and what this thread is referencing, is browser-based and doesn't have such an error message or require you to re-code the videos. It does require using Safari, Firefox, or Microsoft Edge browsers. Just go to...

After one of the Tesla releases, some of the newer cars were showing H.265 videos. I think some (if not all) of those changed back to H.264. So not an indication if a car is HW3 or not. I need to update the text on the site that refers to H.265 being found in newer cars. Others may be able...

In a lot of cases - the event that triggered a Sentry Mode capture takes place about one minute from the end of the recordings. The last file (in the group of files spanning 10 minutes) may only be a few seconds - so the "Jump to Event" button jumps to the previous clips to that one-minute...

Supercharger - Nashville / Brentwood, TN (SC)

Although it doesn't help your case now... There's a new Supercharger for Nashville area under construction near I-24 & Thompson Lane. This places it about 16 miles from Brentwood charger... or about 3.5 miles off of I-65 exit 79. Reportedly scheduled to be open by Thanksgiving. New Nashville...

Thanks very much for the heads up on that. That's very interesting. Telsa changed the rear camera filename from a sample I had earlier. So there appears to be a mix of different filenames in flight at the moment. I'll try to push an update later this evening to fix this.

It's possible the CPU and/or browser can't keep up with the video playback at that speed. I looked at the Activity Monitor on my 2014 MacBook Pro when playing the video 10x speed in Chrome - and the browser used 4 times or more CPU playing at faster rate. However, it did still play. I also...

When will Tesla offer in-car review of Sentry Cam footage?

FWIW - I primarily built this web app to temporarily fill that gap of needing to view Sentry videos. True, it is still a pain that I have to unmount the USB drive and insert it into the adaptor cable on my phone to view the events. At least I can do it in the car if needed. With this being a...

    DashCam / USB Drive Issue

Real Problem When A Lane Transitions To 2
