We ordered our Foundation Series on Jan 2. Was told February/March delivery. We just got our VIN #today. Trying to figure out approximately what the time to delivery will be. We didn't get a text or email with the VIN. I noticed it in the app. We're in Tampa area.
My Model S can't hit that high. I just plugged in to make sure it worked. We went out earlier and it wasn't live on the NAV. Then about an hour later it changed color so we stopped to make sure. It is a level 3. The cable is much easier to plug in.
They let me walk up to the Supercharger this morning (I asked first). According to one of the site workers (very nice) they're only doing emergency work right now (he said Verizon is the holdup, not PSEG but not sure if had the two mixed up) due to Covid situation, otherwise they'd be ready to...
No, not yet. Looks like most of the inside is complete. TV's up and operational. Lights are all working and looks like shelving and everything else is installed from what you can see from the road.
This location is no where near Rt 22 & Rt. 23 is no where near Summit and Springfield. Do you mean Rt. 24? The location is strategically located near the intersection of Rt. 78 and Rt. 24, seconds off exit 9A(Rt.24). There shouldn't be many using the station that would wind up going near the...
Electrician was at Kearny location and took it off the system while I was there before noon. California plate on the Nissan Murano he was using. Had all Tesla Supercharger parts filled in the back. Said he was there adjusting something regarding the 3G connection as some models weren’t...
So why not mention the pricing for those of us not familiar with the costs? Saying he's in range with others is fine, but what exactly is that range? How much should someone expect to pay for such a service?
I have the ToU installed at my home. It took many calls to get it installed. A few times they didn't show up for the scheduled appointment. I think it's worth it. I only charge during off hours.
The service center uses the superchargers all the time at this location. I was there when they occupied 5 out of the 8 and people were waiting. They didn't care.
So I just picked up my car from the SC and they didn't fix the car. Said they didn't have the part and it wasn't available on the east coast. Anyone else heard of this? They said possibly next week and they'd have to pull some strings to get it.
The superchargers at Woodbridge and Menlo Park mall are physically closer than that ( I estimate 1-2 miles). Short Hills or Springfield make perfect sense as an alternative, just like the Newark Supercharger is landing in Kearney instead. Having any supercharger near the intersection of 24 and...
I've gotten max output during warm months without issue at Newport Mall location. Sometimes even if the yellow lines disappear on your dash showing the battery is heated up, it's not. I thought the same thing when I got my S last winter. I had the SC test the battery and all. It just wasn't...
We already have no sales tax on fully electric vehicles in NJ. That's an incredible savings. No need to force additional costs on top of that program to fund sales in my opinion on the general public. It only means our property taxes go up more (unless he funds it from the tax on gas and...
I used a guy named Bruno who travels around the NYC area. He was actually recommended to me by the owner of Detailers Domain up in Norwood, NJ. I have Bruno's cell # at (201) 725-0712. Haven't called him in years. He made my Acura MDX look like it came off the production line. He did wind...
Every job will be different because it will depend upon how your electric is set up to begin with. I had to put a 100amp sub panel in my garage, so I could put in 2 NEMO 14-50's. I highly recommend doing 2 at the same time if you have a 2 car garage of course. Set yourself up for any future...
I parked last night around 7pm with 84 Miles left. About to use it at 9:45 am and is down to 74. Its around 83 degrees outside. Never seen the drain that high for overnight. Is this normal?
I haven't heard anything. I haven't popped into town hall either for any updates either. Does anyone know of another name they'd file the permit with besides "Tesla"?
My thoughts are that at this point Tesla on a national level should be acknowledging the issue. I don't understand how a company doesn't seem to understand the issue on a company wide basis since they don't have independent dealers. I can understand that the fix can take time, and they need to...
Why can't we all sign a letter to Elon Musk first, before trying to sue Tesla? If it's a safety issue I could understand. Do I want the rattle to go away yes, but it's very faint so I can deal with it at the moment. Suing Tesla is not the answer if we all want this company to succeed. I...
Seems the person who could know doesn't know a thing but recalls a conversation she had about it, it seems. Only she didn't have the conversation with me. Her response was:
I recall our conversation. I have not been contacted by Tesla as to installation of a SuperCharge station in an...
I stopped over to the Summit town hall and no one had a clue what I was talking about. They said they weren't aware that Tesla had submitted anything to them. So they directed me to the person they thought would know. She wasn't in so I sent her an email (showing her the image on Tesla's...
Phil does great work and they have great products you can get. I've used him for years as well. Is $7K the going rate for getting a Model S wrapped with Xpel? Also saw Phil is raving about HydroSilex (ceramic paint protection). Anyone use it yet? Would love to do a crhome delete. Anyone...
Got my car back. Before I picked it up I got a call from the service center confirming the struts are the issue and they don't have a replacement part for it yet. The manufacturer of the part (looks like Firestone from the pics shown by others) are supposedly working on the issue and not sure...
