    The Real Use for Auto-Pilot

AP is not for your everyday city street driving affair. Stop-and-go traffic....YES, anywhere, anytime. What AP does for me on the freeway (whether it's across town, or across the state) is it takes a layer of stress or shall I say...responsibility, off my mind when using it. I'm still very...

    Service appointment confirmation

Just got a service appointment confirmation via both TEXT and EMAIL, for service of my Model S this July. The appointment confirmation shows I'm due at a service center in NORWAY, July 17, 2019. Two things... 1. I never called, nor scheduled any service appointment. 2. I live in the United...

BRAND NEW pair of Michelen Pilot Super Sport

Either way, my rear wheel is 10.5" wide. You should do the research....especially on the sidewall height. I like less rubber, where these have a bit taller then I like. It's all about the numbers research.

BRAND NEW pair of Michelen Pilot Super Sport

Did the 2017 MS come with a staggered setup? I have the same car (Aug 2017)...setup was not staggered.

Model S Technical / Mechanical Issues

S75D going on 6 months. Almost flawless... Heater stopped working on day 2. SC fixed it same day. Driver door handle (when pressed) won't present, day 3. I figured what the hell...I'll just push the button on the fob like normal. Problem solved.

Tesla Says New Roadster is Fastest Production Car Ever

It's just the tesla elect motors...they are so efficient in they way the power to the ground gets distributed vs an ICE. ICE horsepower is like a bull in a china shop compared to high efficiency electric powered motors. Even on razor blade tires (exaggerating), it would still hold well.

    Am I the Only One....?

Just the ability to reach out to the touch screen and press a "mic" key to speak a text, and have it read back to you, would be nice. Let's face it, almost everybody still looks at their phone while driving. Why not make it easier and safer and sync it to the big-ass touch screen that's right...

    Am I the Only One....?

...who thinks that the touchscreen should be 100% integrated with my phone? I feel that the current integration is just half baked. I mean, at least add Android Auto capability or something! The large touchscreen should basically be a complete extension of your phone when you get in the car...

    A Truly "Ludacris" Audio System

    Ordered Aug 3 - Delivered Sept 9

Thought I'd share some chronological photos of my Model S 75D delivery and first mods. Twas an exciting day on Sept 9th. I was pleasantly surprised when my car came earlier then expected. Straight to the tint shop, then a set of custom one-off 21" wheels after that. I designed and ordered my...

    Where's my car??

Was wondering about this ^ I checked the speck link for my car and it does show the APH3 in the url code. Does that signify AP2.5 for sure? My order was confirmed Aug 6. My Tesla says it's "currently in production", but only since about a week ago.

Theft Of Components Off My Model S @ Cleveland Service Center

Wow...this is such BS. I hope you get this resolved with some extra compensation to boot.

    Summon Capability

My driveway is tight with a 6' fence and wall one side, and a small planter curb on the other with the actual house only a few feet from that. The car would literally be only about 12" away from the fence side.

    Summon Capability

They should fix that! With all the cameras, the car should be able to navigate and crawl out of a somewhat simple driveway route.

    Summon Capability

Simple question for current Tesla owners. Does the summon feature have the ability to navigate itself out of a long drive way with a slight curve? Or does it just go straight? I have this scenario at home and it's tight to boot. Will the Tesla summon out with ease? Or fail?

    You Still On Your Honeymoon?

I hear ya. I have my twin turbo 2010 Camaro that I'll probably never get rid of. It's more like a car show / weekend driver. But my work daily is a 2014 Chevy Silverado. Tesla should start making trucks ASAP!

    22" wheels anyone?

I'm a wheel guy...so my upcoming Sept. delivery of my new 75D is going straight to the shop for some one-off custom 22's. Just wondering if anyone else out there as done the same and what kind of ride and/or sacrifices if any had to be made. To the tint shop after that :)

    You Still On Your Honeymoon?

Great to hear everyone's take on continued ownership. Yes, people all have different expectations which will result in different opinions. I'm more of a positive guy...so it's nice to see the majority are still happy. But I'm also a realist...so there's always the other side. Regardless of...

    You Still On Your Honeymoon?

Hey there, new Tesla 75D owner and TMC member here. Actually, I take delivery in a month from today, 8/16/17. I feel like I've watched every YouTube video there is on the Model S, both older and newer. I'm looking forward to my delivery day. My question to current owners are: - How long did...

S75D inventory purchase or custom order?

I opted for a custom order S75D vs new inventory...delivery late Aug or early Sept. There are two main reasons. 1. New drivetrain, faster, better. 2. Air suspension standard! Other perks included getting the interior trim just how I want. Also...with all the quick changes Tesla seems to be...

Ugh.. I just dont know now.

I was in the same boat as you a couple weeks ago. Scouring the CPO site for a used P85 or 90D. That is until I realized all the benefits of custom ordering my own 75D. I too am a 5th gen Camaro owner....still have it. My twin turbo 2010 puts out a respectable 800hp, and I don't plan on...
