Polestar 2 Fully loaded experience and comparison

I am currently driving a Polestar 2 dual motor with Performance pack, Pilot pack, and Plus pack. For reference I have a Model X as a comparison. My X is in the Tesla collision shop from an accident I had. Enterprise rental gave me this one. My impression of the Polestar 2 is a compact to...

New Samsung Android 12 broke contact list loading

First, I have not had any issue with the Samsung s21 Ultra connecting and loading contact lists up to this point. I received the new Android 12 and Samsung One UI 4 update last night. When my phone connects to the car, it no longer loads my contact list. I unpaired and forgot phone on both ends...

    Supercharging Degradation?

Here is some interesting anecdotal evidence of Super charger usage and the impact on my battery. Every major decline in my 100% charge range coincided with a long distance trip with super charging only. The times where the graph flat lines is at home 240v 40a charges at 90% only. So, can I...

New AP feature jumps Tesla miles ahead

I just wanted to poke a little fun at the folks who have claimed that Tesla will never achieve FSD in any lifetime because...xyz. One of those most stated features that clearly show Tesla was not ready is they couldn't read a speed limit sign. Now that they have added the feature of reading a...

Where is the update Tesla? AP2.0 2019.40.50?

Ok. I know having a later model AP2.0 build means we are just an afterthought at this point. But, when 40.2 was introduced it contained many bugs. If you cannot give us the new update at least fix the buggy 40.2 version. Here is a list of items that broke with 40.2 compared to previous updates...

    2019.8.4 Crash Avoided on NoA

To set the stage: My family and I were traveling from North of Houston to South of Houston 102 one way trip busy highway miles. I was traveling south on I610 loop which is very heavy with traffic. NoA had me in the fast lane passing slower traffic. Incident: NoA suggested lane change out of the...

Battery kWh usable percentage - real evidence

A question came up in another post about percentage of battery available for driving. There has been some debate that the 90kWh battery has less capacity for driving than the other battery offerings. I have seen many posts about perceived inadequacy specific to the 90kWh. There doesn't seem to...

AP 2.x - Learned something new

I had a loaner for a week (S 100D). One of the first things I noticed different from mine was the ease in which the auto steering disengages when making a lane change on non highway roads. In fact as soon as I would put the blinker on, it would disengage. The lane change is very smooth then I...

    Production delays explained

I took delivery of my X in December 2016. While waiting, there seemed to be a lot of confusion why some orders jumped from entered production to preparing for delivery within days and others sat in production for weeks. I believe I finally understand following a factory tour yesterday. During...

Access road speed limit +5 on latest update

I installed 2.52.22 on my loaner x 90D AP 1.0. The update increased access road auto steering speed limit setting +5 MPH. Seems like when it was reduced on an earlier update to match speed limit was a bug. Doesn't make sense that they would reduce then return to previous behavior.

    AP2 Hardware Delivery

Has anyone received delivery of a MX with the new AP2 hardware. I am receiving delivery at the end of the month and was curious the state of functionality. I know there will be a OTA update in December. I just wanted to understand the gap functionality.
