Tesla's Supercharger Team was recently laid off. We discuss what this means for the company on today's TMC Podcast streaming live at 1PM PDT. You can watch on X or on YouTube where you can participate in the live chat.
Apologies; I just saw these replies. I must have missed email notifications about them.
Non-performance offset, so I believe it's 40.
Yep, still available. Feel free to PM if you have any more questions.
They came with Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires. Here are a couple photos. Center caps and lug covers are included but not pictured. Ready for pickup immediately.
Model 3 Zero-G Performance wheels (non-performance offset) + Michelin PS4S summer tires
Will take delivery at Burlingame service center; I can take delivery in advance and you can pick them up from me, or you can meet me at the service center and take delivery directly (although the service...
+1. When I received mine and placed it back-to-back with the OEM non-charging pad, the dimensions were the same. I get no movement or rubbing/touching and am very happy with it. Placing the rubber pads was easy. Ordered 12/29 and received 1/16.
Have you tried contacting them about it? Seems easy to resolve on their end. I’m still waiting for mine, but I only just got my shipping confirmation today.
I have this model and can vouch for its reliability. The pressure gauge is inaccurate while pumping, which is a little annoying but can be worked around — just note the offset between actual tire pressure and the reading right when you switch on the pump, and add that offset to your desired...
I hear you. I heard back from my IDA and she's escalating to her manager to try to get me my VIN "sooner." Hopefully I'll hear something tomorrow.
I know people who've worked in various roles at Tesla, and they all agree that there are good/smart people there, but management just can't set up...
I'm in a similar bind. My lender won't issue the loan until I provide proof that the vehicle has been added to my insurance policy. GEICO won't add the vehicle to the policy unless I provide the VIN. My IDA hasn't responded to emails in the past couple days. So the process is deadlocked until I...
+1. I also got a pretty high rate from LightStream initially. If you think about it ... LightStream has to offset the cost of their Rate Beat program somehow ...
Thanks for your helpful reply — a tried-and-true, classic response which makes this and every other Internet forum so fun to participate in.
What search query would you suggest that would turn up the phone number for LightStream? I tried "lightstream phone number," which doesn't yield any...
I would also like to contact them by phone. I have a pre-approval letter from a CU and have emailed LightStream twice about Rate Beat, but have gotten a response like this both times:
I heard back from Evasive:
It will be using a Titan 7 cap. We do not have plans for use with the oem center cap, although an adapter may be possibly produced in the future. Thank you for your interest.
@Xenoilphobe last I remember seeing is hopefully under $2k for the set. Is that still the ballpark?
And this is not terribly important, but if you’re gonna get these, what are your plans for center caps?
I drive a 2016 S75 and the lease ends in October. I leased it for 24 months with Model 3 in mind, and I’m looking forward to the transition when I take delivery in a few weeks.
That said, if I owned my S, I’d definitely keep it. I don’t think the 3 (and I’ve driven one) is so much better than...
We good. :)
I do wonder, though, how the voting/sales would change if there were a 19x8.5 option. The more conservative side of me might actually prefer that. @Xenoilphobe is it too late to add that option? I know a bunch of people have already voted ...
This is terrific news. I changed my config from 19" sport wheels back to aeros because of this thread, and I'm even more excited than before now. Delivery timing-wise, it's only going to cost me a few weeks. Supposedly.
So, in stock setups, the fronts change from +ET40 to +ET35 when going from square to staggered? Is this basically because staggered is more of a performance config so Tesla wanted a wider front setup? Any other reason? Seems like a change they didn't need to make considering how hesitant they've...
Understood, thanks. And this is tangential, but what tires would everyone be putting on these? I’m in the Bay Area and the PS4S is my most likely choice, but I’m not crazy about the 300 treadwear rating.
@Xenoilphobe Thanks for spearheading this. Any chance this poll could close sooner than 90 days? Would love to see how the poll turns out so I can make a decision sooner.
Also, where can I get more info on the aerodynamic wheel effort? I’m somewhat intrigued and interested in the...
I applied via Logix a couple weeks ago but received an outright rejection, almost certainly because my credit reports are frozen with all agencies. Does anyone know what credit agency they pull from? I'm trying to get this information from them as well.
Hey all,
I got this as a gift from the late 2016 referral program, but it's been sitting in a box and never used. The interior pocket is missing its zipper pull, but that's easily remedied with your zipper pull of choice (I like paracord). There's also a strap that's not pictured, as well as a...
Do you have experience with AP1 on the same route? My AP1 car does that when there's a median at about that distance. Not saying it's not ML, but it might just be the ultrasonic sensors picking up the median.
