Yup, I do it while in park but both, back and forward, buttons are grayed out for both seats.

When you have the seat belts clicked in, can you move the seat from the screen or do you have to use the button on the seat? In my case, the buttons on the screen are greyed out.

I got an S loaner on Friday when I took my X to the SC and I noticed there's also ghosting with the S o_O Although it's not as pronounced as the ghosting in the X it is still there! The S seems to be quite new since it only has 4,000 miles on it and the new interior configuration.
