This is probably a dumb question but I don't have the premium lighting package so my trunk only has the hatch light. I can feel the indentation for the lights in the trim so I expect I'll be able to find the wires back there. Do I just pop the new light in? Do I have to cut out the carpet or...

My estimated date didn't show up until I was out of production and the car was on it's way to me. It's hard to be patient but just give it time, it will show up.

When I did my first test drive, the Tesla guy was required to drive it out of the parking garage. He pulled into a gas station and parked it in front of a pump in order to do the switch and orient me to the car. Felt fitting.

To say it's disappointing is an understatement for those of use with Dec 2015 deliveries with 2015 VINs. They just effectively gave those 2016 deliveries a discount.

Well that would be nice. Too bad they didn't offer that to all of us. How frustrating.

Whatever the reason, it better be perfect! Happy to see other locals have their cars on the way but getting frustrated that mine isn't on the same train. But it was important to get it in 2015 to me, and that is still on track so I'll just hold onto that.

So, I've been obsessively refreshing MyTesla and I'm still in production after 7 excruciating days. Some people get out of production in 5 days, some in 7, some 10. Is there any correlation between time in production and issues later in the car's life? Does this mean my baby has/had more...

I just moved into production! Apparently constant refreshing pays off! I'm VIN 1129xx for a 70D to the east coast. Hopefully the rest are in or will closely follow.

I'm VIN 1129xx, a few behind you and east coast delivery of a 70D. I confirmed early December delivery today with my DS. Big exhale given I need to replace my existing '04 Acura for the CT winters. Sooner is def better!
