I think because for the folks with newer MCU, it's really the traffic and stop sign awareness. For regular Joe's it's not much until we are offered the chance to upgrade.

Exactly. I stumbled on it and i foud it useful. I did not try it 15x. Every now and then the car does not recognize the "tension" and i panic and take of AP and then reenable it. The stalk has been automatic. This is useful to know.

Shop cut out the sensors and fixed a couple of dings I had to the Matt Wrap. i think i need to look for the Black casings - White ones stand out too much. It looked better before than after, but my sensors do work now. Here is before and After. Before ............. and After I also tinted...

Thanks everyone. I set up an appointment to get the sensors cut out next Tuesday. I really like how smooth it looks with them covered, and will be annoyed if this doesn't fix the issue. I'll get the interior seats opticoated and the windows tinted while I'm at it (smile).

Got the ones from evannex. Saved my Sonic carbon rims the first time I went to the car wash. I had to pop the bands back in, but It hasn't moved since pickup in July and I wash my car every week (by hand - no more car wash). Must buy for curbed rim protection.

Got it from RPM Tesla site. Velcroed to side of trunk and it has a decent sensor that turns on when the trunk is open. Wasn't sure about DIY light upgrades for brighter trunk lights. Out of country or I would post a photo.
