Rolled TSLA 3/22 -p170 out to 12/20 -p120 for a small credit as I'm not ready to have those shares put to me amidst all of the doom and gloom. Buying at $120 in Dec. sounds good now, though I hope the SP is significantly higher and these expire worthless.

With hindsight, I'm kicking myself for not closing some of my 1/27 140 and 150 CC's yesterday. I'm surprised that we didn't close under 130 today given the relatively low volume.

Today is the first time I ever bought puts that weren't part of a BPS. Pretty much guarantees that SP rises tomorrow (or at least that I mis-time selling those puts :))

I'm in a similar position with 9/30 295P's. My cost basis is around 287, so I plan to take assignment and sell a 300CC on Friday shortly before close (provided that it is clear that the shares will be put to me).

Still holding on to my underwater 7/22 805 CC, but will roll if we breach 800. Opened 7/29 850 CC.

What did you go with? For 1/14, I have X 800/1100 and 2X 850/1050. The 800/1100 make me a little nervous (hence the wider spread), but I believe that I will be able to roll those for a week or 2, if necessary, and that we will have a close above 1100 on 1/21 or 1/28 once earnings are announced🤞

STO 980P (to create a BPS with 650P I bought last week) for 12/31. I had 650/850 12/31 BPS last week, but STC the 850P on Friday to de-risk over the weekend. Also considering selling calls at 1300 or above for 12/31 if we sustain this upward momentum today.

I have slightly more conservative BPS positions (650/850 and 750/950) open for next week . I don't currently have any CC open for next week, though I may open a few around the $1,500 strike if we get another large run up on Monday. Edit: glad I closed my 11/5 $1250 CC on the dip this morning.

Sorry, I should have been more clear. I am trading BPS right now, so I am hesitant to use all of my margin at this high SP. If we get a significant pullback post earning call, then I would be much more comfortable selling additional BPS at that time. I am not looking to buy shares on margin.

For me, opportunity cost. I don't want to use up the rest of my allotted margin now and miss out on that "fantastic buying opportunity" such a dip would present.

I did STO 5x 9/10 BPS -700/+580 earlier today. I am curious as to why you selected 680 for the short leg? Just to memorialize my thinking, I chose 700 as it appears that is a large wall there, it is under the mid BB, and the 50 day MA will likely approach 700 next week (current at $684).

Do you keep options or sets of options open in parallel so that you typically have puts and/or calls expiring each week? For example, in addition to the 2 week options you have expiring on Feb. 19th, did you open options 2 weeks ago that expire on Feb. 12th? Edited for clarity (I think)
