For mine, I got a text saying I had a new message in the App. The App also showed a notification, and I also got an email with step by step instructions (assume this process is the same regardless of interior choice).

I would guess that because he's/she's in the NYC greater metro that they are constantly shipping cars up that way and thus more availability. Areas like Tulsa probably don't get nearly the same volume of shipments.

It makes sense that they couldn't intentionally try to mess with the customer like that, but imo they do have (some) ability to assign upcoming deliveries to a waiting customer. I got a VIN within a few hours of a pretty frosty call with a SA on that issue.

If you look at the estimated delivery date, white in on new 3 is June-July but the S Plaid white int says Apr-May. It does seem to suggest some kind of prioritization, but then again the S seats seem to be a different design from the new 3 seats so idk.

Not trying to be a jerk, but whatever your current EDD is, it’s meaningless. It’s going to be Q3 at best.

White LR, no other options. Btw, after switching now have VIN and 4/22-5/1 date. I hate to be a bummer, but have to say if you’re not willing to standby indefinitely and if you still want a new 3, prob going to have to switch.
