    [UK] 2024.14.x

It knows what road you’re on, and it knows there’s a camera on that road.

This. Hopefully it works like Waze.

    Salary sacrifice lease vs PCP

Ah ok - we looked at this recently (via Tusker) and the private lease was about £150 a month cheaper overall on the Model Y with that current PCH deal from Tesla

    Salary sacrifice lease vs PCP

Why not a personal lease unless you’re looking to buy at the end of it?….

    UK Pricing piss take

Don't even look at the US prices after the tax credits....£36.5k for a MY Performance FFS once the tax credit are factored in. Even without it's £42k.

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

I'm wondering how RT's will work in rural areas like here in the UK where there is zero option other than to owning a car. Those seem to be screaming out for affordable EV's. Have I missed something obvious (as well as mentioning how much people value having their own car parked outside).

    [UK] Spring Software Update

I'd happy with that - I think that's also what Waze does. Coming out of a car with CarPlay that's the only thing I miss so a result if it lands as hoped for.

    [UK] Spring Software Update

I'm assuming that like Waze the speed cameras will only sound when you are on a plotted route?

Beginning of the end for Tesla

I’d argue that they matter even more at the cheaper end of the market. The reduction in servicing costs is also a factor.

    [UK] 2024.8.x

100%. I’m not looking at the screen to spot cameras. Whilst I’m pretty careful with my speed anyway as I have to have my licence for work it’s nice to get the warning in areas I don’t know or with mobile units. At the moment I plot the same route in Waze and play via Bluetooth from the charge...

    [UK] 2024.8.x

I’d very much like an audible warning for speed cameras a la Waze

    [UK] 2024.8.x

I picked my new MYSR up on 16th March and it updated to 8.4 four days later. It updated to 8.7 overnight.

Mine is all working smoothly but I never get any notifications from the Octopus app itself. Everything is turned on (iPhone).

[UK] 2024 Order to Delivery discussion

My experience with CA was abysmal, so I feel your pain. Car ordered 5th March, Tesla app offered a collection 13th March in Southampton. e-sign crapped out halfway through on 6th March so they sent over forms to sign, scan and email back. All done on 6th March and confirmed as received. My car...

Wiki Everything you wanted to know about Intelligent Octopus But Were Afraid To Ask

Ah - I removed the device and re-added it today anyway - they have confirmed they can see it fine their end so should be ok. Mind you the chap at Octopus had no idea about the emails some here have had so who knows....and yes that's what I thought on the 100% point.

Wiki Everything you wanted to know about Intelligent Octopus But Were Afraid To Ask

I added a leased car last Saturday with no virtual key required and the IO seems to work as expected. As I'm new to this world am I right in thinking that if the car is charged to 100% (MyYRWD) it'll not set a smart charge schedule until the charge drops below that 100%?
