I had no issues with a new M3H, but with a Wallbox and controlled by Octopus app. It needs to be actually charging for the test cycle so I would check the two systems (Project/Tesla and Octopus) are not fighting each other

Sorry to hear. I would see if it will 'polish out' with a mild abrasive polish. If not a 'smart repair' local respray will have it good as new.

Agree about 'Highland', just quoted here to be clear which model. Tesla have suggested giving insurer VIN. In relation to cost, as Tesla have sensibly reduced max speed to reduce tyre speed rating this should reduce risk and cost - but as we know insurance only goes one way.

We have our first Tesla , a M3 in grey/white, arriving on Titus. Although we are only 25 miles from Southampton we have a collection date of 1st Feb. Pleased to see it has a Hampshire registration plate.
