    21" charcoal wheels staggered

I have a set of 21 charcoal rims and Conti tires, staggered, no TPMS. willing to sell if anyone is interested. Tires have good thread on them but not sure on the mileage. Any of you in Florida?

Help me decide what to buy!!

So is rebuilt a car that was previously declared salvaged? Or something else? I'm quite the risk taker, but if that p85 has no warranty and support from Tesla, then I'd run from it. Or if it was involved in a bad crash.

Help an Indecisive Owner Select a Wheel Color

Yeah, those are the mirror cut version. I personally love them, not only because of the look but because of the weight, price, build, etc. So yes, I am very happy with them. I don't know how to define them, but they are what you see there. Here's what yours would look like though. I saved this...

Help an Indecisive Owner Select a Wheel Color

I like to think of mine as classily badass ;) I must say, I did want more of a classy look due to my line of business. More pics here: Let's see your white Model S - Page 9

Let's see your white Model S

It's alive!!!! I mean, trim has been painted  Huge thanks to Stig, Sickfox, TSportsline and everyone else in this thread who helped out. Also big shout out to Dayas Custom Auto in Orlando, they are very nice people and do excellent work. When I dropped off the car Dayas had three or...

Let's see your white Model S

I love my gray next gen interior with black alcantara! It's just different and makes the car look more futuristic. I did pair it with matte obeche to add a classy look, but I think it would look just as great with carbon.

If you have grey leather how is it holding up?

I haven't bought anything special yet, I use an all purpose cleaner and microfiber cloth. Eventually I'll buy some simple wipes. The reason I use the cleaner is because it's simple, non-greasy or full of chemicals, so I'll buy some similar wipes. Leather surfaces should be allowed to breath.

Let's see your white Model S

I'm sorry to post this off topic here but since we have a good concentration of white Tesla owners in this thread... did you do cquartz or opticoat on your white car? Was it worth it? White doesn't show imperfections as much as other colors, plus it won't show the shine as much either. I was...

If you have grey leather how is it holding up?

I love my grey! Looks awesome with black Alcatara. I've only had it a few months, any dirt wipes easily and back to looking brand new.

    Motor Trend's HellCat VS P85D

I hope you guys got my point, the fact that multiple people may own both, actually proves it, two different purposes. My point was, I haven't seen the first person who was wondering "should I buy a Model S or a HellCat". I believe buyers shopping for a Model S would be comparing it with other...

    Motor Trend's HellCat VS P85D

Very entertaining and certainly fare. I would say though, these cars are for completely different purposes in my opinion. I haven't heard the fist Model S buyer who also had a HellCat on their short list.

Ordered a P85D, now thinking about losing my deposit and getting a CPO instead.

Keep your P85D! I was in a similar dilema, went ahead thanks to my wife who supported me, and my employees are just happy for me and even enjoyed their insane rides! I left my badge on too, they see how cheap I am with my life in general and don't seem to question my decision. I was also afraid...

    Firmware 6.2

I guess part of it may be how one drives, this morning while going to the office I couldn't really push it much and had to just sit back and take it easy, during that whole drive it felt the same as before. But if one drives more aggressively, the car seems to respond better.
  18. R

    Firmware 6.2

Glad I'm not hallucinating! I'm loving this update, it just feels nice after getting used to the previous performance to get a new punch in power :) I also noticed the motor be more, noisy, but not horribly so and worth the tradeoff imo.

21" Grey Turbines on Flat White MS

Actually, that may not help you because you won't be able to tell the difference from flat white to pearl white in most photos. Hopefully someone here posts a photo for you so that you get an accurate look.

    Firmware 6.2

Thanks, regoapps. When you went from .153 to 168, did you feel a big change on initial acceleration for launches? Or was it a "meh" improvement? Upon first impressions it feels drastic for me.

    Firmware 6.2

I just installed 188 on my P85D, coming from 153, I thought we were already at 0-60 on 3.1secs, I'm I wrong? I went out and tested it, the acceleration is certainly different, it seems more aggressive. I was quite impressed, it just felt more supercar like. I think I'm in love all over again! I...

Tesla model S in the slow lane during road trips?

I usually drive in the fast lane while l driving locally on the highway, not for long trips, because I didn't want to give the wrong brand impression out there. "Tesla Cars Can't Drive On The Fast Lane". I thought I was perhaps being a bit crazy, but if we're thinking about it, others might as...

TESLA Orlando is moving this weekend and should be open 4/27/2015

Cool, hopefully that explains why I didn't get a call back a couple of weeks ago about scheduling a service appointment. Will have to stop by there and see what's up.

    85D vs P85D

It really is a personal choice and comes down to needs and wants of the individual. To me, this is a toy and a daily driver, two cars in one, and I wanted the best toy I could buy, while still using it daily, the P85D did the trick. Make no mistake, the 85D is not regarded as a super car, the...

MY S85D past and Current Pricing Comparisons

For me, on my P85D, the newconfig price would be only $100 more than what I paid, however, would get methe premium interior and lighting which I didn't order before. However, I would not get the Next-Gen backseats which I love and feel make the car more luxurious, plus they match thestitching...

    Tesla plows into Buckhead boutique

That car completely plowed through the entire store, how can you possibly apply so much force to the pedal when all you are trying to do is park? I don't get it. The other day I was going out of a parking spot and put the car in D instead of R. While I actually accelerated and moved the wrong...

Yep! Working on that, still trying to find the right place (and right price) to get it done. Model S Photo Gallery

Here's some love for the chrome crowd, I even went with the mirror-cut face wheels to bring more bling to the equation :D Oh, and by the way, I am fairly young... that said, I love the chrome-less look as well and may go that route if I ever get tired of my current set up.

Let's see your white Model S

Anyone willing to help with this? I'm still working on the saga of getting my lower trim painted body-color. P85D smoother, less front motor whine after 6.2

My noise level has also been very low from the start, much lower than when I took my test drive. On the test drive I was worried. That said, I do remember some early deliveries complaining about the car being a bit loud. My delivery was in late February.

    Firmware 6.2

Haven't gone through this whole thread but has anyone else gotten an error code saying "Software Update Required, Please Contact Service Center"? I called Tesla and they say that it is a known bug and that a patch will follow. I reset my dashboard and it seems to be gone now. This was after...

    6.2 TACC - didn't I read that CRUISE hold is 30 seconds?

Btw, I just read the info on TACC from the manual and found some other tips there I didn't know, like pulling the lever away from you actually pauses TACC without turnout it off. This is useful as well because I've been doubled clicking the "on" button to turn off and back on at times.
  39. R

    6.2 TACC - didn't I read that CRUISE hold is 30 seconds?

Holly freaking wow! I was not aware of this. I just tested it this morning and it is all I could've asked for. I still think the delay should be increased, but mainly for stop and go traffic, for every other scenario I believe this has us covered :D
  40. R

    6.2 TACC - didn't I read that CRUISE hold is 30 seconds?

I agree, should allow more than three seconds on local roads. Or at least have the option to press the lever up, or push it in, and get going again. Tapping the pedal is kind of jerky for me, doesn't feel good, messes the flow of things. BTW, is Tesla using GPS to know if you are on highway?

    Short-Term TSLA Price Movements - 2015

I invested in TSLA right around the time I took delivery of my P85D, the stock had gone down to $204 and I went all in instead of doing dollar cost averaging, this was a day after consumer reports dubbed the Model S their best car for the second year in a row so I was feeling good about the...

Go with P85D or essentially new S85D?

I wouldn't take either! For a bit more you can get a NEW P85D exactly like you want. I was in your shoes and for me, once you are in 100k territory you better get exactly what you want and have no regrets later, now, if you want the 85D, then the inventory car kind of works, assuming you...

got valet mode, now we need an "arriving home" and "at home" mode

While we are talking about homelink, I find it inconvenient to have to reach out and hit the screen to open my garage door. I usually start opening it before entering my driveway so that it is open once I actually get there. Why not allow homelink as an option in the dash? That way we can open...

got valet mode, now we need an "arriving home" and "at home" mode

I hear you on all of them, including the locking while in garage, I hate that. I'm actually just leaving my keys inside the home and using the app to unlock when needed, however, the app is slower and it's just something I shouldn't have to worry about to begin with. I think the "At Home" mode...

Let's see your white Model S

Thanks guys, you're awesome! Here we don't seem to have many shops familiar with Tesla's, the one I found quoted me $2,700 after a discount, should I keep looking/shopping around? I could call other nearby cities if it means saving a grand i the process.

@sickfox your car looks amazing! Love the yellow calipers :) One question if you don't mind, I've been getting information on painting the bottom trim of my Model S, like you have, did the shop have to remove all the parts in order to paint them, and was that really labor intensive? Or did they...
