Just got a call from tesla. They say it is temporarily authorized for delivery and then access from the app is removed until they finish the paperwork. It could take up to 5 business days.
I am in the same boat. Models 3 picked up Friday. Today it was removed from app. Have a call into tesla with no response yet. My model S is still available in the app.
Got our VIN today! 15xx, White w/standard wheels. We ordered on 11/22 and reserved on day 1 after the mad rush died down. We own a MS and have owned 2 total.
You are probably right. Images from May 18th and 20th on Planet.com indicate another section being "re-roofed". does not bode well for quality of construction if that is the case.
Thanks for the questions,
The car does not have rear facing seats, the car has the structure and mounting points installed to add rear seats should you want to. Newer cars do not have that structure if you don't order the seats day one.
Full charge is around 240-250 depending, I rarely full...
HI thanks for the question:
All door handles were replaced early on, the drivetrain and 12v battery were also replaced. I think they replaced some AC fan component as well as it was making a squeaking noise, no performance issue, just annoying. I have had some pretty good luck with the car.
I am breaking down and selling my P85 I picked up from the factory in December of 2012 and did my Supercharger road trip home. The car has metallic blue paint, Tech package, air suspension, premium package, panoramic roof, 21" powder coated wheels, parcel shelf, tan interior with obeche gloss...
I am Long TSLA and I think the results are great to show where the company could be without a huge growth trajectory. Having said that, the 600MM increase to AP is probably mostly to do with the CapEx, which they estimated at ~$1B for Q4. This may be a small profit but next quarter is a...
The last time we test drove a Volvo they had some crazy lockout system that prevented any use of the navigation system while driving, regardless of whether a passenger was in the car or not. That, in and of itself, was the deal breaker and we have never looked at another Volvo. Same can be...
I think the newest video shows all new side panels that were not on the blue car or the other mules. From 11 seconds on you can clearly see a body line that runs from the taillight to the back of the rear fender and disappear and then from the front of the rear fender to the bottom of the tesla...
Someone needs to photoshop the front wheel moving forward like 6 inches. that will put the nose in the right spot and move the windshield further back in relation to the wheel. In the other SUVs, none of the windshields (except maybe the Acura) start any where near the middle of the front...
This right here. you can see they took a great looking profile and basically went into photo shop and stretched all the proportions too much. It is now too tall, the nose is too long, the windshield angle is off, the rear end is stretched upward and the glass now extends past the rear wheel...
Ummm, I am now hoping that this is not the real deal, that profile is terrible. Please don't do this tesla. It doesn't matter how much innovation you have in a car, if it looks terrible it will get panned in the press. You could get away with less range and have a beautiful car or add 10%...
I think everyone is partially right. I doubt Elon/Tesla thinks of TMC as "the public." A reveal event is a huge press coup that will generate substantial buzz outside the forums. The amount of eyeballs these spy shots get on this forum and elsewhere are exponentially smaller than what any kind...
As I mentioned in AnxietyRanger's other thread. The proportion of the model S dash could be an issue in a taller SUV. Seems like stretching the dash vertically would be a correct move while maintaining the overall design aesthetic.
There are going to be many things that are different from the...
I think we are going the wrong way. Look at the steering wheel thickness. In the stretched photo, the steering wheel is obscenely fat to make the proportion of the screen work. I think it makes sense that the model X dash is vertically stretched to make it fill the larger space of an SUV, that...
I think an intriguing aspect might be the performance characteristics of a P1xxD. Elon already hinted in a tweet about the 2.8s possibility. A larger battery pack in the same space could allow for these improvements. I think it is just a matter of time that the 85 is upgraded, and doing it...
Best picture yet for some interior speculation...
Zoom in on the passenger A-pillar. Notice anything missing, like a cross brace? I know there was speculation earlier in the thread but this seems to be the best picture that shows the front windshield going all the way back to the B-pillar...
I was out there the first week in March (the day before the electrical union hubbub in the press). I am in construction and development and my first question when I stood on the hill looking down on the work was "where are all the people?" I saw one welder and two cranes that were operational...
I think the squares at the top of each wheel well may be cameras for a 360 degree surround top down view of the car for parking, etc... BMW and others already have this feature although I think it is in the side mirror.
I think the "innovative ideas" are masked, the body is the general shape...
