Many forum posts keep saying they are all the same but keep forgetting that there are going to have different motors. I'm assuming the performance has the larger motor with or w/o ludicrous mode.

Question, does anyone else remember/hearing Elon or JD saying that because of some characteristic of the 2170 chemistry that if you did put them in the 100D/P100D pack it would reduce the 0-60 times/1/4miles etc? I'm not sure if I am imagining this, lol.

Does anyone know how much more kWh (if any) would 2170 cells in a 100D would be? Im assuming the physical pack size can't be changed. Or would it be other reasons, (cooling etc). Sorry if already calculated.

I thought the exact same thing when I saw the roadster. The rear wheels that are placed as far back as possible, the upper and lower car lines that run along the sides and the pronounced front wheel wells are all similar.

With no major battery chemistry breakthroughs currently reported, how will the roadster not weigh, like ~8000lbs, even with lightweight CF parts/chassis? Won't the 200kWh pack+light wt car make the roadster heavier than a current Model X?

Has anyone guessed how you fit 200kWh in that form factor and also not have it weighing ~8,000lbs? Major chemistry breakthrough?

I remember talking to a sound engineer about car noise at a summer party and he thought it'd be much more cost efficient and easier to test thicker/heavier wheel arches first and then try the foam tire approach. But I'm sure artsci already tried this.

How does having a PMAC motor affect the 0-60 times, are there any limitations on how low the time can be?

How much of an range increase would it be with a PMAC motor like the M3 but bigger? From what I've read, the 0-60 times would decrease, so would the torque but about ~5% more efficient? (not an engineer, so forgive me). I guess it would depend on how big the PMAC motor would be...

I never considered Multi, but I recently saw one up close and it is waaaay better than MPS from '14 models. If I were to buy now, I really don't think I could justify the 3k price on how good MPS looks now.

Cinturato's are a tad quieter(IMO, but very close) but I feel it has a nicer ride. They spin on p85's and don't do so well on low treads from what I hear, I only have 5k on mine.
