Yes, I can confirm this. Off now means only-at-night. Got .115 this morning (after getting .113 about a week back). Didn't notice any other difference (just based on a quick glance at the release notes, and controls/settings menus).

Where does VisibleTesla show this (ie, a notification about new firmware that's ready to install and its version) ? I havent seen any screenshot of this in VisibleTesla's documentation. I have an android phone (the app doesn't notify on android), so this would be useful for me.

Well put. I also see "several months" as being less than a year. While I understand that they're not making a firm commitment, I think it'll do Tesla's credibility a lot of good if they can get most of the promised features done (ie, enabled in customers' cars via s/w updates) by Q2/Q3 2015.
