About to pull trigger: P85D to Raven Performance S

This is helpful. My P85D is not an L. i didn't see the value in the $5k retrofit at the time. bhzmark - like you I enjoy the sport suspension, next gen (leather) seats, etc. I didn't realize the LED headlights weren't considered as good. I really like the brightness of my current ones. The...

About to pull trigger: P85D to Raven Performance S

I've really enjoyed my early (Dec '14) P85D. It's got 63k miles and has been nearly bullet proof. Now, I have a deposit down on a Raven Performance S (also shifting from Pearl White to Blue for the color). Questions: * anyone else make a similar upgrade? * If so, will I notice a real world...

    Measured: P85D 0-60 in 2.7 secs.

Well, I'll readily concede it may be a limitation of the app. That said, I did include all rows of data from the log file and I did start the run from a complete stop. If I understand it right (and I'll concede I'm no expert) our cars sample every 250 milliseconds to send data to Tesla's...

    Measured: P85D 0-60 in 2.7 secs.

@Brianman - I've included all rows. Do you think it's possible that I need to add 250 ms to account for the 0-15 time. that would put the overall time at just under 3.0 for 0-60, right?

    Measured: P85D 0-60 in 2.7 secs.

I got a chance to try out the revised version of the Power Tools for Tesla app this weekend and pulled a 2.7 second 0-60 time in my P85D. Max KW was 375, SOC = 82%. First record (at 250 ms) was 15 mph, so maybe I was just lucky in how the data was acquired from Tesla's telemetry servers...

What wh/m is your P85D getting NOT in range mode?

I'm at 418 wh/m over the course of 3,600 miles since taking delivery of my P85D on 12/19. That's pre/post torque sleep implementation. I'm struggling to drive any real distance below 400 wh/m.

Got a nice surprise picking up my P85D tonight

Unfortunately, I think I'm out of luck on the heated steering wheel. Here's a shot of the winter package controls and there's nothing selectable on the steering wheel: I never expected it, so not a huge deal for me.

Got a nice surprise picking up my P85D tonight

I took a look at the dome lights and took some pictures of how they look and the light they cast. They are posted here: http://1drv.ms/1v5pVmZ While I don't have strong memories of my P85+ (again, only had it 3 weeks before trading in), I do think these are warmer / less blue than before (not...

Thanks, Island. I'll give it a shot when I get a break from my meetings today. Appreciate the tip.

Got a nice surprise picking up my P85D tonight

Seats are a big, big improvement. I'm also 6'1" (200 lbs). the side bolsters are firm but not overly so. They are a welcome change given the power increase and better cornering with AWD.

Got a nice surprise picking up my P85D tonight

Okay, I took some pictures of the seats folded down. In short they do not lay flat and, in fact, there's a lip / step from the flat rear cargo area up to the folded down seat back. I don't have much time right now but I did take some pictures and have posted them here for you all to see...

Got a nice surprise picking up my P85D tonight

99% sure it's a NO on heated steering wheel. My DS has not actually not even been trained on where the control is (and there's no obvious button on the steering wheel. Personally, I'm not concerned...I never expected it. I don't know why. I do consider myself lucky though :)

Got a nice surprise picking up my P85D tonight

First, the car is absolutely AMAZING. For those who've been patiently (or more likely impatiently) waiting...you'll soon be rewarded. The car pulls SO hard it truly is hard to describe. I had a P85+ for about three weeks in September - Early October and this is on an entirely different level...

First thoughts on P85D acceleration, day 1

Completely agree with you Aargau. I took delivery of my P85D about three hours ago and can't wipe the grin from my face. When Jeremy Clarkson is really excited about a car's torque he'll sometimes use the word, "biblical". That's an apt choice for the P85D. I've just come from a 996 Porsche...

    Tracking P85D delivery thread

I've been lurking on this thread (and the others related to P85D delivery) for the last few weeks. I have just learned from my DS that my P85D was loaded at Fremont today and will be at the Seattle DC on Tuesday (and ready for delivery on Wednesday, which I intend to do after work)...
