How to sue Tesla over historical claims

What's the advice for someone with FSD, HW3, updated cameras - but still on MCU1 and therefore software 2022.x.x - and vehicle now out of warranty? Is there an argument for a comp MCU2 upgrade to get FSD beta - one that would legally stand up in small claims court?

Delamination / Bubbles behind Instrument Cluster after eMMC replacement

Took my 2017 Model X (40k miles) in for eMMC replacement yetserday and picked it up today. As soon as I got in the car I noticed a large air bubble behind the instrument cluster screen. Went back in to let them know, but both the Service Manager and Dealer Manager couldn’t give a damn - both...

    EMMC replacement/screen bubbles

Since damage to the instrument cluster is clearly a safety concern, I would encourage anybody affected by this problem (delamination, “bubbles”, etc.) to report it to the NHTSA. It only takes 2 minutes to file a report. https://www.nhtsa.gov/report-a-safety-problem#index

    EMMC replacement/screen bubbles

Same problem here. Screen has been perfect - I wasn’t even aware this problem existed until today. Dropped the vehicle off for EMMC replacement and saw the bubble as soon as I got in the car to leave the dealership. Service Manager and Dealer Manager couldn’t care less - both were rude and...

Well... To answer my own question in case anybody else has the same concern... Seems like it's up and running at full service. 👍🏼

I hope to visit tomorrow but in-car map says limited service. What's the deal?

HomeLink stopped working - is this widespread?

Yesterday (Wednesday 10/4/17) a colleague at work told me that when she left home that afternoon in her Model X her HomeLink had stopped working and had to be re-programmed. Low and behold, when I got home last night in my own Model X, mine had stopped working too. It still comes up with the...

    Supercharger - Laurel, MD

MXFan: Thanks for the info. Done. They didn't tell me whether or not they were already aware but told me they would pass the report on to the supercharging team.

    Door sensor function and testing

Jeeps17: That doesn't sound unreasonable - but no wind on the day in question. vandacca: That doesn't sound unreasonable either - but this was another car parked in the adjacent space. The sensors on the driver door seem to work. If I approach the car from the front the auto presenting driver...

    Supercharger - Laurel, MD

Good to know. It's not marked as such and on the day I was there all chargers were in-use and there was a line. I watched two people pull in and park at that station, then spend several minutes trying to figure out why it wasn't working. I'm sure Tesla are aware - but any way to check and/or...

    Door sensor function and testing

I've had a series of issues with my recently purchased Model X. These have included several relating to door function: ALREADY FIXED: - Auto present not working (apparently they forgot to install a "module" at the factory). - Passenger door rattle and display intermittently showed "passenger...

    New DC Metro Superchargers

The DC area is slated for a bunch of new superchargers by the end of the year. Has anybody seen any movement in any of the following locations? Or know more specifically, when/where they will be? - Washington, DC - Beltsville, MD - Gaithersburg MD - National Harbor, MD - Tysons, VA - Fairfax...

    PEPCO electrical rates - MD

Agreed - no incentive whatsoever. And I'm not sure how electricity companies get away with making their charging schemes so elaborate and complicated - it makes it almost impossible to compare one against the other. We have been on the time-metered tariff since we bought the house 2 or 3 years...

Perhaps it's a problem on individual vehicles:

Buy now or wait til new year 2015?

I'm Ok waiting for it (meaning, buy the car in January 2015 and get the credit in early 2016). On that subject, my understanding is that the federal tax credit is good until a specific number of vehicles have been registered by Tesla in the US - do we know if they're getting close to this number?

Buy now or wait til new year 2015?

Does KBB use date of manufacture or date of first registration for model year? Time spent perusing these forums over the last 24 hours seems to suggest that there is good potential for lots of changes in the near future - AWD, better seats, improved in-car technology, LTE etc. I LOVE the fact...

Buy now or wait til new year 2015?

Yes, I realize the car will be the same. That's what I'm talking about. I'm thinking that in 3 years time, the difference in resale value between a 2014 and a 2015 model could by fairly substantial (even though they may actually only be a month or two different in age).

Buy now or wait til new year 2015?

I've made up my mind to by a MS. Initially I was anxious to get delivery by the end of the year to take advantage of the Federal tax credit. I've done my homework in terms of charger installation, insurance etc. The car is spec'd up and I'm ready to place the order for (hopefully) a November...
