Thats may be correct. Continuous transmission is unlikely...but they are self powered which probably makes them less dependent on antenna orientation.

For those of you running 10" wide rear wheels (of any diameter really) and 285 wide tires, what offset do you recommend? Guys seem to be running between +32 to +40. I think we all like the wheel well to be filled out some, but we don't want the wheels/tires sticking out beyond flush either...

Yeah, I could definitely see that having air where the roads are bad could be important, particularly up north. The SC here is near Atlanta, where roads are pretty good in comparison, so that might be why they favor coils. Anyone know what the current ride heights are with air with version...

I just got off the phone with one of the sales guys at our local SC. He said its his opinion that the "difference in ride quality is barely noticeable" and that when he is able to buy his own MS, it will definitely be coil. This is coming from a guy that drives all varieties of the Model...

If price is no object, I'd just get a new paint job when the damage becomes too obvious. $5000-$7500 for a quality full wrap goes goes a good way towards paying for all new paint! Besides, paint armor will show dings too... I think the factory paint armor takes care of most of what most...

Very well said. Having it done at the factory is THE place to get it done...not after delivery when dirt and other contaminates have attached to your paint.

Does the rotation include balancing the tires as well? Balance, rotation, alignment (done correctly by a Tesla tech), inspection, free pickup and dropoff, etc. may make a prepaid plan well worth the money and time.
