Yes, it was a blast. Definitely hard to consider any other EV—the Supercharger network is much of the reason Tesla is awesome. :-)

@Schlesinger183 Wow, how times have changed. We did a cross-country road trip (PA→CA & back) in November 2015, and even then we were able to use Superchargers for almost all of our charging needs. It's really pretty impressive how fast they've built out the network!

Yeah, I don't know. They're completely nuts. So far I have been most impressed with Geico locally while researching options — the representative actually knew what a Tesla Model S was without asking me "who makes Tesla, is it a Toyota?" Geesh.

All depends on how far the run is from the circuit breaker box.

In Pittsburgh... I checked with Allstate yesterday, and they quoted $266/month ($3200/year). Geico was between $82-$90/month depending on options, and State Farm was $120-$144/month.
