My current plan is to keep driving it and keep an eye on the range. I still have about 2 1/2 years left under warranty so I can just play the waiting game. If it continues to go down, then I'll bring it back to Tesla and see if they finally agree the battery isn't operating normally.

I used the SC on Sunday after dropping off my son. I was the only car there when I started charging but one other car came and went while I was plugged in. Having an SC there saved me having to route through Bloomington on my trip from West Chicago to Champaign. Well done Tesla!

The thing is, Tesla is not demand constrained at this point in time. Furthermore, they haven't even advertised the car so it doesn't really make any economic sense to lower the price. Tesla will be able to service the buyers that don't have as much to invest when they come out with the Model 3.

I just called my SC about the issue (I've had about 6 reboots in the past week and my NAV is very choppy) and he said that he thought he would be able to fix it over the air without me coming in. I'll keep you posted if that is the case.

Doesn't heating the cabin also warm up the battery pack? If so, couldn't he have just used the phone app to start warming the car 30 minutes before he was going to drive it to the SC?

I ran mine down to 10 miles, which was honestly a bit lower than I wanted to go. I took the pics shortly after plugging in so I don't know how much the ratings changed over time. We came back about 1 hour later and I was up to a 180 mile range (which was my setting).

I stopped at the Point Prairie chargers on Sunday morning about 10:30 AM to find them all available and working perfectly.
