I would have a hard time answering your question not knowing how proficient you are or are not with body work. There is nothing inherently more difficult with a Tesla vs any other car.

I have a 2021 M3P and rarely go from D to R or visa versa without coming to a stop (habit from ice cars). I have not heard any noise if I do this, you have chosen the best path with a service appointment.

Yes. See at the bottom of the app screenshot you posted. It states you will charge off peak and be done by 5:45am. I have mine set up the same way. I could plug in at 6pm but the car will not start charging until I get to super off peak (midnight) and stop at 6am for my set up.

You can wax your roof but there is no real benefit to it. Wax on glass isn't adding much in the way of protection the way it does paint. Even on paint, the wax protection doesn't last very long but I digress.
