Tesla's Supercharger Team was recently laid off. We discuss what this means for the company on today's TMC Podcast streaming live at 1PM PDT. You can watch on X or on YouTube where you can participate in the live chat.
It tries to complete at off peak is what I understand. Even if you don't have off peak, Tesla manual recommends to use off peak settings for better functionality and lower costs.
Not sure if it's working for you now, but I have same issue. All weekend is off peak and weekdays my off peak ends at 10AM.
I played around and found something which works for weekends. Even though weekend is off peak, in scheduled depart that every day off peak ends at 10 AM. This will prevent...
thanks for that. Yeah I heard about it making the screen less sharp due to matte. I'm going to look into getting protector.. thanks for the suggestion. I'm also planning to get my front windows tinted to match the rear. Wondering if that might reduce glare.
P is pretty good.. Only downside is little harsh ride due to perf model and higher price.. if you really need one and are ok with range that P offers, you can go for it.
i had MVPA right away as I had cash. When I called and asked Delivery guy to change to third party finance, he switched and asked me to logout and log back in. Once I did that, I saw the updated price and new MVPA showing my third party bank name. hope that helps.
i went with tesmanian. tesla only gives front mudflaps and heard they are long and might hit speed bumps and snap depends on how fast you are going. heard good reviews about tesmanian.
Over the last 3-4 days there are a lot of VINs coming in. Hopefully this clears every May order and most of June. Good luck everyone. Hang in there.
Data is the key. Keep tracking data and you will see patterns that estimate your car.
seems like my VIN assigned once the car reached east coast. which is why new EDD is next week. typically it takes 2 weeks from west to east. When I called SC today they said the car is in calif, but I think that's incorrect. He said the shipper shows delivery date of 8/25 which I believe he is...
Once you have VIN, contact DCU, get your loan approved using MVPA. then contact your SA and get your order changed to finance and go through that application process. Meanwhile you will get your DocuSign from DCU and send that over to ratematch and see if they can match. Not every ratematch is...
That is true with your last statement. Even though I don't reply frequently with EDD trends and all, I will be hanging out and looking out for people getting their VIN and excitement
Here is my every change from order date except couple September dates I had back in June. As you can see in this, from 30th jul, range start is 2 weeks out.
My EDD was 9/1 - 9/13 and it moved to 8/23 - 8/28. So it seems like my car is already in NJ or on it's way close. Could be the same so doesn't mean your Car is still in NJ
with how easy tesla makes to place orders and how easy it makes to take delivery and how easy these car sellers like vroom, carvana and others making, its not that hard.. but I agree, I don't think scalpers are invading tesla as it's more long and risky process. However, I feel like some normal...
sounds like high price to me .. may be because its west coast too.. i'm in MD and had to run 50 ft cable from breaker in basement to garage through a wooden wall and was charged 900.
i agree.. but tesla isn't delivering based on order date.. a 6/30 order with my same exact config and east coast got VIN before me.. it's not a reject because the car was still in fremont. most likely they have a truck going there and have some empty spots and they assigned car to them...
