I’d also be interested in knowing the details of the Lynnwood SC. They have many positive reviews.
I have owned a 2015 P85D for 9 months, and was thinking of getting it in to Lynnwood for routine maintenance (check AC compressor, lubricate brake calipers, etc) and it would be great hearing...
You need to know the difference between Actual vs Rated range! Your car is the same as every other car Tesla ever built. Search here or on internet will provide thousands of answers for you!!
Had the same issue, kept asking me to resubmit the paperwork. I called and spoke w/an agent, she gave me her email address to where I sent the same paperwork and it got done within 1-2 days 👍
I bought a 2015 P85D with 58K miles, ludicrous etc. Loving every minute of it while waiting for the battery to fail!
What the heck reasoning is that? Don’t buy because it MAY fail, wait until what??? Damn
Once the competition puts as many cars on the road as tesla has, it’d be interesting to see how they fare.
tesla is sold out for quiet a few months, they sell every car they can produce, their charging network is huge, so having a few here and there complain about built quality etc is getting...
Beaty of free market, don’t like Tesla, don’t like built quality or whatever—-
agree 100%. These threads are getting old, it’s a CAR, if you don’t like the fit & finish buy another CAR. Tesla will be fine 👍
As soon as the update was done last night, charging rate was reduced to 1KW and hot a error message. Stopped charging and restarted and worked fine.
haven’t driven the car yet today, I’m about to. I wonder if I’ll have the same issue as you.
Hopefully this release is not full of bugs...
Do your homework, buy the car and enjoy it. I’m sure you’ll see a few here that they’ve had issues w/their car etc, there are thousands of us that haven’t 👍
Probably idle fees. I bought my ‘15 from 3rd party dealer and it has free supercharging. If the car hasn’t gone through Tesla it will have the free supercharging 👍
I guess the question would be if you are already on 90 degree turn, why would you want to turn on the turn signal? Theoretically the signal was activated prior to starting the turn.
Drove my 2015 to work today using only the bottom portion of the steering wheel (I know, not an exact experiment, steering ratios different, etc, etc.) I had no issues at all after the 1-2 90 degree turns that took to get used to it.
Now re the horn, turn signals etc, not sure about those...
Understand the reservation, maybe test drive it first if that’s the only issue preventing you from buying the car. For me, way too many +s in this car vs the -s 👍
You are confusing some of us. Look at your original post, where you quoted the Tesla notes on the service receipt. Per notes, “UPGRADED chip already installed.” Here you say the car has the original chip!!
I guess what makes you think that they lied, vs the upgraded eMMc, whenever was installed, failing again? Sounds to me, like it was working during the last 2 months between your service visit and now, so maybe coincidentally failed?
I don’t see the appeal or usefulness to me either, but boy are we spoiled? Try to tweet the CEO of any other manufacturer, or make requests on futures they should implement in their cars, good luck! Part of Tesla’s appeal to me, Musk etc 👍
It really is that simple, no need to over react about a car. Whoever doesn’t like what Tesla is doing, how they’re handling this, etc just move on. Choose a different manufacturer and go from there 👍
What year cars? Pre-January 2017
That is not what we are taking about, we understand that if a car goes through Tesla it can have this removed, and in your example Tesla told the owner it would not be included.
we are discussing cars purchased from 3rd party dealer!!
I bought mine from a 3rd party dealer 3 months ago and the free supercharging stayed👍 2015. I believe 2017 and later, they can remove it, prior years stay with the car unless Tesla takes possession (which you can find via car fax.)
I think the $75 should be paid by all, since theoretically all will move to EV at some point and take advantage of the charging infrastructure!
I’m in Snohomish, down the street from Bothell, and not happy to be paying the $150 already. I agree we should pay our fair share, but IMO, $/mile for...
S all the way, better looking, 2 screens, rides better, better looking, etc in my opinion. Drove the 3, Y 2021 models, 3 just didn’t do it for me. Y was nice, but wasn’t looking for an SUV. P85D with Ludicrous is what I bought and I’m thrilled 😊
