The past couple of years has really scarred us all and made us more conservative. What happened to the days of 7-10% moves :) I'm hopeful we'll have a 10% move at least once this year!

From my limited understanding, the breakout from the base was expected to be roughly $100 since that was the range of the base ($180 - $280). We're right there at $380. If that's correct, then it seems reasonable that we'd consolidate at maybe $360 - $380 for a bit until we move higher ($400+).

I feel the exact same way. TSLA is just in a weird position right now and it'll take multiple good quarters and seamless SCTY integration to move into a solid up trend.

This isn't the game the large institutions play. They have a mutual relationship with the shorts (especially the large players). They make interest off lending shares which they plan to hold onto for a long time anyways. At the same time, the shorts make money in the fluctuating stock price. So...

Agree. And even if the S sales do slow down a bit that's probably ok. They still have a lot of pent up demand for the X to fulfill over the next year or so which should allow them to hit their targets.
