I went with OCD and spent ~3k for front only PPF in 2020. Just took delivery of a 2022 and debating if I’m gonna go with PPF since I barely keep cars for more than 3 years and not sure if I get the resale value back if I spend as much as I did the first time.

Just got VIN'd. OD 2/2/2022 MSM/Tow/Base wheels/No FSD or EAP live by Fremont. VIN# F533XXX. Delivery scheduled for 8/20. Fingers crossed it actually goes through and it's a good build.

Got an updated EDD of 8/16-8/26 with an OD of 2/3/2022. Not holding my breath considering people have been waiting way longer than me. Config is MSM, tow, no FSD/EAP, live by Fremont factory.

Do folks think adding EAP will unofficially speed up the process like adding FSD or EAP doesn’t appear to affect anything? I’ve read somewhere that they *could* send you back of the line if I add fsd then remove it but that doesn’t seem to be the case with folks doing it here.

If I’m doing my back of the envelope calculation correctly there should be over +170 million possible combinations for the current CA license plate format. Seems like a lot but that could go by quick and not sure how much of that has already been accounted for.

Have a mobile service appt next week to replace the spoiler for the first time (owned the car for close to a year now). I think it’s just a bad design and will prolly go with the rpm spoilers if this starts coming off

I hope they bring back EAP for $4k. I missed it by the a day after I took delivery of my car before they discontinued it late last year and have been waiting for an another shot at it.

Yeah same. The rear bolt came out with no issues. Took 5-10 min for the rears. Front passenger side flap wasn’t as flush but I’ll live with it.

Mine should be arriving today too. Had the OEM fronts and wanted something for all corners. Hopefully these checks off all my boxes.

A few of us got the blue HOV stickers two weeks ago but we mailed our application in November. 2-3 months seems to be the turnaround time in my experience. Took that long also in 2019 for our Honda Clarity stickers.

Just saw my check processed for the app I sent on 11/30/2020. SHOULD get here in the near future based on my previous experience with cashed check to receiving the sticker from our other cars.

Yeah, it takes less than 3-5 min to pop em off and on for both sides. It’s just two push pins holding them in that you can pop out with a trim tool or flat head.

Just a FYI for those that sent their stuff late last year and hasn’t been processed yet. My in-laws submitted their application in October 2020 and they just got their sticker and it’s the new blue one. Looks like it’s based on when they processed it and not when it was sent like others have said.
