If I subscribe to FSD, will I be able to download or will I likely still have to wait?

It has not come back unless I go through touchless car wash, which is about every two weeks. I have never washed the car by hand.

I have tried using different cleaners and a sponge, nothing works better than my bare hand 🤚 My build date is in January and have only used touchless car washes, and every time it takes about 5 minutes to clear off the rainbow color.

Have you guys tried just rubbing it off with your hand? I just take my hand and buff off the rainbow color after a touchless wash. Takes a few minutes but it does come off by buffing it with my fingers. I took pictures of before and after I buffed a small section.

Agree 100%, I miss my wireless CarPlay. I thought I would get used to Tesla’s system over the past 4 months but CarPlay is so much better I wish they would offer it as an option.

I had the same issue, January 2021 build. First time I took it in they oiled it up and the sound disappeared for a day. Next time they replaced the seat base and they said their was a service bulletin regarding the issue. Good luck it was annoying!

I had it listed on my car and on my Tesla.com account that it expired in 2022. I didn’t know I had to take a screenshot because it would be taken away from me a month later.

When the SR was first listed on Tesla.com, it was not listed on the connectivity link you posted above.

It is listed now, I placed my order 1 hour after the SR was listed. The connectivity page was not updated at that moment. I received this email after delivery, and my Tesla.com account and my car had this information up until Thursday.

I can’t talk in terms of how it works, but my SR gets plenty warm and it has been down to 15 degrees here in the winter. My only complaint is the climate control is not as good as my Toyota was, and my feet get a little cold when it dials back the temperature automatically.
