Agreed! Less light is also better for humans and wildlife (especially migratory birds) in most cases. Plus, people think more lighting reduces crime, but that's not necessarily the case. Lighting, Crime and Safety | International Dark-Sky Association

I did that route, through John Day to Baker City, in the middle of last winter. It worked, though we had to stop for a little while in John Day and charge a bit at the charger at their Chamber of Commerce. (Model 3 LR)

That's the only one that I know of in the areas hit by the fires so far (at least in Oregon). I haven't seen any photo or video showing the supercharger itself after the fire, but I know the grocery store just across the street survived, so I've had my fingers crossed.
