It looks like similar to Model S price. New tech with high cost. I am early waiting for hybrid version for half the cost. I am not that good at technology but how about hydrogen range extender in BMW i3 or something similar car... zero emission and light on wallet.

I am surprised that Honda is quiet on EV front and Fuel cell. They have good pilot program for CNG but not making much noise about fuel cell. EV has one issue that if you don't have charging facility at home (people who lease and rent or own condo where association don't allow the installation)

your entire statement make 100% sense and other model s owner agreed same way. It is not about input but output i.e. zero emission or close to that. It will be nice to have better options in affordable price range because owning expensive EV make no sense to many owner financially with different...

TurboTax and other software packages are good for simple tax return. Try to file through EA who knows latest rules (they have to) and take responsibility for making mistake. If you are expecting 7500 refund spend $200 or $300 for EA (enrolled agent)
