About to lose it with rats in my Model 3

These work on getting rid of Raccoons in an attic, so it’s a cheap way to see if rats are repelled too. Good luck 🍀

Should I keep or trade in my 2018 Tesla P3D for either a Model S (or when available a Highland Model 3)?

A little bit of apples and oranges... a "few" years ago Tesla had no competition (debatable if they even have any today that can sell EVs at a profit ...except for the Chinese) so they could make a few missteps since if you wanted a leading edge EV, where would you go? Also, how close is your...

    Bogus "Gas Savings"

I charge my M3 standard range at home in Florida 99% of the time, so my costs have been running about 4 cents per mile (electric rate is 11.45 cents per KWH). My wifes Kia gets about 26 MPG and gas is running $3.65 or so for about 14 cents per mile. In 15,000 miles I figure I save about $1,500...

    NEW Model 3 Highland review!

I really wanted to order a new M3 with white seats, but perforated seats will be MUCH more prone to becoming stained and dirty with all the little holes just dying to attract dirt particles. Oh well, black it will be again I guess. :(

It is "Clear" That Tesla's Price Hikes Are Thanks to Gas Prices Increasing Demand and Awareness of EVs

    1. Your drug example is a little more nuanced, but.... Insulin is not a proprietary, patent protected drug. Used Model Y Price Gouging

So it's better to have a cheep price, but no supply, than to be able to buy it if you REALLY need it at a higher price? Because I'm not driving 250 miles to bring you a generator at a $499 Costco price when there are NONE to be had. If that is your business model, go for it.

    Used Model Y Price Gouging

Thanks for making my point. I was willing to drive 250 miles to obtain a generator. If they wouldn't have been classified as "criminal", there would have been people who would have scoured the country buying cheep (normal priced) generators and bring them to the stricken areas to sell ( the...

I tried using this feature on numerous types of roads and highways for a couple of months, but gave up and now I never use it. What's needed to run a quicker ET for 2021 M3P

OK gotcha then other than the lighter weight it shouldn’t make too much of a difference CD. It might be that the tire set up I’m thinking of doesn’t exist but in my mind a tire with a smaller circumference would make a difference in the final gear ratios which should make a difference in the...

  32. doc333

What's needed to run a quicker ET for 2021 M3P

That may be, but I'm not sure I follow how if it is easier to spin a wheel to its max RPM, that would result in a slower time to get there. Yes, it would lower the theoretical top speed, but it should get there faster. However, until someone tries it, this is conjecture.

What's needed to run a quicker ET for 2021 M3P

What's needed to run a quicker ET for 2021 M3P

This will take some research but if you find the 18 inch tire that has the smallest circumference , that will have the effect of altering your final gear ratio and should cause an increase in acceleration…IMHO

In a way, you are making my point... if YOU had 3 sensors providing information at a CRITICAL moment, all at the same time, would you you have the time to sift through all of them...or, would you eyes and brain tell you to PUT ON THE BRAKES! Fighter pilots have a threshold known as "task...

I respectfully disagree... I think the timeline is the only thing constraining the solving of this problem. Today, you are correct. Weird issues on brand new MY

I don’t disagree with much of what you say but let me distill my point down. No human who is totally blind can drive a car , fly an airplane or operate a marine vehicle. A human who is deprived of the other four senses can safely operate an automobile. Vision combined with their intelligence is...

    Door close effort

Yep…. But it’s not enough of a problem for me to worry about scheduling a service call. And about half of the time it closes normally so if I did taken in the service that’s probably what it would do and it would not exhibit the problem.🤔
  48. doc333

Weird issues on brand new MY

I respectfully disagree that lidar or radar will ever be back in Tesla cars. Humans do not use either of those to perceive the world as they’re driving it’s strictly vision and experience and intelligence which the neural net will solve.

    Door close effort

That is an odd coincidence…. My 2021 M3 left rear needs a firmer push as well and sometimes even then it will bounce back and need to be pushed even harder. Oh well, 1st World problem.
