Just to make sure we've done the "did you turn your computer on?" thing....when I first installed fsd beta, traffic light and stop sign control was turned off and it took me a day to realize it.
In other news, since I got my camera upgrade and enabled vision AP, my auto steer wants to plow through all stop lights and signs without slowing down at all. Just flashes a take control warning at the last second...
I know it's been asked a million times but the OP lists the original S/X replacement parts and I think there's been some upgrades since.

I still don't think anyone has definitely confirmed this (my SC also said you don't need to opt in for camera invite but they don't know anything half the time), hence the reason I opted back in just in case (which is now my 3rd cycle of jumping back in and out)
Just fyi, you can't erase a whole drive anymore, but you can reset a portion of it by doing a two button reset while driving. My morning commute is 12 miles, and just to test it out I did a two button reset while in motion somewhere around mile 11. The SS in the app ended up only recording a 7...
The SS is unsafe because in the vast majority of locales it forces you to deviate from the usual driving behavior and average rate of speed of the other motorists on the road......and doing that is the number one cause of accidents.
And definitely it's just absurd that you are not graced one or...
I opted back in (cause I'm still unsure if camera invites are being sent to non-opted in people) but I still need about 20 more miles before I hit the 100. I doubt there's going to be any camera availability any time soon so we'll see if I get a push since I think anecdotally I've been getting...
This actually happened to me a couple updates ago with the left headlight. Kept hard resetting a few times. Still wouldn't go off. Said f it, plugged the car in and made an SC appt. Woke up next am and it was off and never happened again.
I made a (non-invited) appointment again yesterday to try to get cameras and I had to go back and forth with some anonymous idiot at the SC trying to tell me my car didn't need the cameras. It's infuriating how little they know.
You should probably tell him that a camera bulletin only exists in the first place because of all the people online.
And I would also ask him to go check with some techs at other SCs who have already done the upgrade about the C vs B thing. You almost certainly need B parts.
At this point I would settle for knowing that the camera upgrade and a couple lines of code is all it takes to make 2016/2017 cars fully compatible with FSD beta. I have a nagging feeling that there's some other big software/HW bug that makes it more difficult to achieve compatibility than what...
I would see if @Lowchrg could update the OP with a couple things:
1. The correct camera parts # for 2016-7 S and X upgrade
2. The fact that one does *not* need to be opted in to receive the camera upgrade invite.
If FSD enrollment doesn't matter then I can't see a good reason to keep chasing that stupid safety score until you at least get the camera appointment....
Is that so? I opted out again because I'm going to eat a bullet if I have to keep driving the way a 99 or 100 requires, but I've been considering opting back in if that's the only way to get the camera upgrade email...
Yeah I didn't mean forever incapable. It can be fixed with "effort" as you say, but I have no frame of reference for how much effort is required once all the necessary hardware is in place.
I'd certainly like to hear some theories from some of the more hard/software savvy guys if there are technical reasons why an older S/X with upgraded cams, MCU2/HW3 etc is incapable of the beta or remote sentry cam view.
Can someone tell me what are the correct part numbers for both the replacement triple and the replacement repeaters for a 2016/2017 S? I'm starting to get confused here by some of the invoices I'm seeing...
Just to confirm, having TACC engaged also prevents getting dinged for hard braking and unsafe following, correct? One doesn't have to have full AP or autosteer enabled to get those benefits?
