I see mention in this thread that the MS cars stolen may all of had the MCU 1 unit and not the MCU2!? Is that just a theory or does an upgrade to MCU2 fix this particular security issue.

Thanks Speedy but remember I only have AP2 on my car; not AP2.5 and from ready through this whole thread I am not 100% sure I would get an upgrade to HW3, especially when the car doesnt have FSD.

Thanks can I double check though. I have a 2017 MS with AP2. I thought I had read that to get the dashcam/sentry function you required something more than just the swap from MCU1 - MCU2? Possibly an upgrade to the cameras to AP2.5 or even this and the HW3 computer?

Does the web browser now work with MCU2? We have a 2017 MS with MCU1 and the web browser is a complete joke. If it loads a page you are lucky and that's usually after a 1 minute wait!

Are you sure - mine gives the tyre size code - think it was something like 265/35 R 21 with the "21" indicating a 21 inch tyre
