    June 30 Supercharging Offer Fail

I'd suggest trying Tesla phone support. I had a similar issue on a different feature when I bought my (used) Tesla. Roughly speaking: there was an incentive in place for orders, I signed paperwork on the 2nd of the month with the incentive in mind, setup delivery on the 8th of the month, and...

    Phantom drain, 2-3% per day?

2020.12 on a 2017 X. Also seeing about 2% per day now, and also have noticed the car coming out of sleep mode for no reason, with no keys around. Yesterday the X turned on headlights and taillights while sitting in the garage, no keys or people around. I can't figure out why.

Family man finding the S a little too tight. Is the X significantly better with kids?

Agreed with the above, and highly recommend the 6 seat X for 2 installed kid seats. The center passthrough is much easier access for the 3rd row when needed vs the bench tilting.

The shudder problem: Current status (end of February 2020)

Pre-Raven here. Had half-shafts replaced in addition to the clevis motor mount for my Performance X. I do not think they are NOT a problem for pre-Raven models. I think the OP's declaratory statements are half baked and should not be taken as gospel. As with anything on the internet.

Charging UI Screen - Supercharging Session Details

I'm still fairly new to the Tesla UI. Anyone have more details on this? I've supercharged the vehicle several times, but I've never seen any info show up in the bottom right "Current Session" box. It always says "No Recent Supercharging", even if I'm currently supercharging, or if the prior...

    Self presenting driver door sensor

Absolutely worth asking the SC about! I'm guessing it left at least small scuffs on the inside of the door you can show. If you're extra enterprising about it, see if you have a soft surface or pool noodle for the door to open into in order to intentionally replicate the behavior for on...

    Instrument cluster start up

Also have a '17. Normal. Seems to happen on mornings mostly. Most afternoons I get in and both fire up, but somehow if the car has sat a while and it is 'cold' the dash screen takes that extra bit of time to boot up.

    Text Messaging - Volume Adjustment

I would also like to be able to adjust the volume, it seems fixed in the current version. Text-to-Voice had it read a whole long random URL in a recent message to me. No way to cancel. Hilarious. The feature is actually great overall, but small fixes are needed.

Poll: Does your X have the "Shudder" issue?

2017 X P100D. I was provided the clevis mount and half-shafts fix under warranty by Service Center today. Fixed acceleration shuddering for now. Don't know if it will be a permanent fix or not, but I'm happy with the service center's resolution at this time.

Brand new Model x sensor problem..

No big deal, just call Service and let them sort it. My experience is there's a few more minor issues in these cars compared to the traditional brands, but the Service Center is good about making it right.

Tesla Starts Charging for Diagnosing Noise Related Issue

Interesting question. Is it a Tesla-purchased in-warranty vehicle? I'm also in Raleigh and used the Raleigh SC just a week ago to chase down 5 unique issues in a January 2020 delivery (used) MX. 2 of the issues were wind noise / wind ingress issues on different doors. I was asked for, and...

Where is the update Tesla? AP2.0 2019.40.50?

2017, MCU 1 AP 2.0: got 2020.4.1 tonight. Seems like the dam has broken and we're getting updates.

Quest to improve Efficiency and improve braking

All per google: 2019 Volvo XC90 weight: 4,394 lbs 2015 Acura MDX weight: 4,332 lbs 2017 Tesla Model X 100D weight: 5,267 lbs These X are heavy. No way around it. I too have experienced 'pucker' braking in the X and it just takes longer/further to slow this car than most other vehicles...

    Premium Connectivity in CPO MX

Who are people contacting, or how are people reaching out to Tesla to get their standard connectivity flipped back to free unlimited premium? My account also just updated from no details on connectivity in the account page to saying Standard connectivity, but I purchased during the free...

    Excellent Tesla service

Rather than start a new thread, I'll just use this one to pile on the kudos for a good service center. Across the country from California in Raleigh, North Carolina, I had my first service appointment on a newly purchased used MX this week and couldn't be more pleased with how it went. My...

    Premium Connectivity in CPO MX

Just in the last week, the website detailing Premium Connectivity was updated for used vehicles. Ordering a Used Tesla It currently says: What type of connectivity will my used Tesla come with? All used Tesla cars purchased on or before January 8, 2020 will continue to have Premium...

Mysterious FSD discount for some Model X owners

Quick follow-up, only about 30 minutes after I purchased the $6k FSD I had to run an errand in the car and was greeted with a "Your Full Self-Driving Capability upgrade was successful" message. Tried out EAP-style lane-change during Autopilot and confirmed it works, first time I've had the...

Mysterious FSD discount for some Model X owners

2017 MX P100D here, 2/17 build. Not 100% sure but I believe that makes it a AP2.0 car. I purchased it used from Tesla early in Jan 2020. Car came with basic AP only per specs, not EAP. When I looked at Upgrades the first week I had it, FSD was an available $7,000 option. I'm one of the...
