Thank you to those who responded to my query regards the drive train matter. I see that at least three of you already own the Model S and it apppears, that you have not encountered this problem. That is also reassuring to me. I will keep waiting for that Model X. :)

So, here it is August 8th 2014 and the Model X is coming out sometime in Spring 2015. It will be AWD which means any drive train issues will potentially be more of a problem than with the Model S. I have waited for my Model X for what will be over 2 years when I take delivery sometime next...

Is there a particular forum or thread setup which talks about aftermarket products that are currently available for the model S? I am waiting for a model X (Sig #371) but there may be interior items that could be used in the X. Thanks for any responses I may get

Just changed my Model X P reservation number 2,495 to a Model X Signature - now number 371.

Never been this excited about any automotive vehicle. So it is REAL hard to wait for the X model. Therefore, I decided to upgrade to the Model X Signature and moved up to #371 from 2,495. That makes me feel better but now I am even more excited. Where are my tranquilizers ha ha?

Glad I live in Florida and cannot wait for my X!
