    Supercharger - Gustine, CA (12 V2 stalls)

Wow - someone got out of bed on the wrong foot. "The value I see..." I think made it clear that this was a pure personal viewpoint. The response could have been stated in a more positive way like "it allows me to skip Harris" or similar. Santa Nella is a key location for different people for...

    Supercharger - Gustine, CA (12 V2 stalls)

The value I see in Santa Nella living in the Bay Area is not going South as Harris (or Buttonwillow if the car could make it) would be my first stop. However returning from the South Santa Nella is a good stop after the monotone I5 to take a short break shaking my legs before going on the home...

    Supercharger - Gustine, CA (12 V2 stalls)

Awesome news... key location for North-South and East-West travel.

    Supercharger - Bakersfield, CA (I-5 / Stockdale Hwy, 10 V2 stalls)

"I doubt it could support all the traffic on a holiday weekend" That is not the intention of batteries and solar... the intention is to better manage the electricity cost. And there is a nice synergy... on weekend SC usage is high while industrial electricity usage is low - during the week it...

    Supercharger - Bakersfield, CA (I-5 / Stockdale Hwy, 10 V2 stalls)

The permit calls for batteries. The chargers, PowerPack and switchgear have different looking cabinets. Just a peak if one can see one or more PowerPacks.

    Supercharger - Bakersfield, CA (I-5 / Stockdale Hwy, 10 V2 stalls)

Could someone using Bakerfield please check the size of the battery? How many battery cabinets. Thanks.

    Tesla Supercharger network

Nope - I am quite active. However I do not go where the masses tend to go... 99 (Sierra Nevada) and 101 North of SF is where I go - not luck there. I live exactly in the middle between Gilroy and Fremont - 20 miles each is too close to extend my range. On the 101 I have a work around as I...

    Tesla Supercharger network

I would see it different... Texas has been privileged to get early superchargers. The nation wide network was promised end of 2015. I live in CA and there are ZERO superchargers that help ME to go where I need to go. But I will not complain until the nation wide skeleton network is complete.

    Tesla Supercharger network

In general superchargers at service centers are a must in order to test customer cars, however they don't have to run full power or be accessible to the public. When local conditions allow, there is a good chance that Tesla will place them in a public area.

    Tesla Supercharger network

All I can say is keep a shovel in the car when driving in snow conditions... keeps you warm getting to the free stuff

    Tesla Supercharger network

The y-axis was changed from 200 ideal miles to 170 EPA rated miles... no real change but uses now a more practical measure.

    Tesla Supercharger network

The Blink station I used last also had a handicapped marked space, but the instructions were very clear - use this spot last.

    Charging with time-of-use billing

Indirectly you can manipulate the stop time... by lowering the level the battery stops charging.

    Supercharger - Fremont, CA - Tesla Factory (LIVE, 4 V2 + 8 V3 stalls)

"Always struck me as odd they didn't have a Supercharger at the spot where the Supercharger was born." SC were born at Hawthorne... not Fremont.

    Delaware supercharger. 90kW->120kW?

It is easy to tell - 90 kW maxes out at 225 A and 120 kW at 300 A. So if you are getting charge current over 225 A then it is a 120 kW station. 120 kW is in beta testing and so far I have seen only one report quoting 280 A charge current.

Amazing Core Tesla Battery IP - 18650 Cell

@CapitalistOpressor - exciting work - thanks. Make things much more clear. If you know mfg any core is always cheap to make, cost goes up dramatically with the add-on. Smart move because now he controls the cost of the system and can make improvements in house. I don't think he pays more then...

    My service experience

Same here - very friendly but overwhelmed. I hope some of the issues will be addressed tomorrow. Also I hope they will open a service center in the South Bay soon to take some pressure off Menlo Park.

The reason "You folks in CA are funny" is the factory is in our backyard. We are cheering all SC including located in Florida.

Service upgrades to the home, dual meters?

aaron - I have the same problem as you and need to upgrade my current panel from 100A to 200A with 100A going to the garage ( I am anticipating a second EV in the future ). PG&E has a nice estimator (PEV Calcluator) out there and with my driving requirement I don't see any advantage between E9B...

Ok, ok, I hear you... here is the deal for upgrading from a 40kWh or 60kWh battery pack to an 85kWh battery pack on the Model S - $40k for the new 85kWh battery pack ( that is what I am charging on a new vehicle ) - $10k for disassembly and dispostioning of the old battery - $5k battery...

    Latest "Finalize your order" date

I don't think there is any secret... Swegman had a signature reservation, a low production reservation, and probably another production reservation and now one of the last pre-price increase reservations. He deferred for legit reasons that MS doesn't have the features he needs/wants. I guess...
