    Model 3 accident repair costs

That's at my mum's farm in Yorkshire, fortunately the farm is on top of a hill. It might not be wet but it's been very windy! My excuse was that the sensors and camera were filthy after the journey from Scotland.

    Model 3 accident repair costs

I have an estimate and the repair does not include a new bumper from a Tesla recommended repairer. i realise repairs on all cars are not cheap but the quote for the above was still quite eye watering.

    Model 3 accident repair costs

I had the misfortune (stupidity) to reverse in to a pillar in an underground car park. The damage as you can judge from the picture above will not polish out but I was surprised at the repair estimate. For a bit of fun have a guess at the repair estimate. The only damage is that visible in the...

    Undertray Hanging off

They removed the fibrous panel and now there's just a gap where it was.

    Undertray Hanging off

Seems ok, the technician did say it may affect the aerodynamics. I've done another 3500 mile since and no ill effects.

    Undertray Hanging off

My undercarriage ripped, hanging down causing an awful noise. Took it to Tesla (mileage around 800), They cured the noise by removing the piece. If I wanted it replaced £150 and wouldn't cover it on the warranty. Not the best customer service.

    What else do you drive?

Swapped a BMW M5 for a M3P. I also have an AMG GTS and a Range Rover. Absolutely loving the M3, my new favourite.

    Less regen since 2019.36.2.1

This morning’s drive in to the office was at an average of -3 degrees. Model 3 was on charge and pre heated (21 degrees). At outset the range was 268 miles, 26 miles later range was 218. The energy consumption suggested a range of 93 miles. 5, 15 and 30 all pretty similar range. Broadly...

    Model 3 - range

Cheers buddy but I was home last night at 2am. I wish I had been exaggerating but just for your benefit I can give you the full details of my trip. Left North Berwick with a full battery at 6:30 am. Arrived Glasgow 8:30 for my first meeting. Left Glasgow at 10:15 to drive to Derby. Stopped at...

    Model 3 - range

On the journey I described the last 150 miles was straight off the A1 to the supercharger to put in around 200 miles of charge to get to 250. Is there anything I could have done in that scenario to improve the range prior to charging?

    Model 3 - range

My normal drive is 70 miles a day and the Tesla is ideal. For the longer journey (about one a fortnight) I’ll be in a less efficient (mpg wise) ICE but expect to save about 5 hours of my own time. getting home at 9pm as opposed to 2am makes a massive difference
  18. A

    Model 3 - range

I did around 650 miles yesterday in 14 hours with 5 supercharger stops. It’s so much less efficient than my other ICE cars and I can’t carry on drinking this amount of coffee on a daily basis.

    Model 3 - range

Thank you all so much for the detailed responses. The answer seems to be that the Tesla stays in the garage for long trips over the winter.

    Model 3 - range

the range drop is from when I initially got the car back in September. Apologies if I wasn’t clear but the issue is comparing now to three months ago.

    Model 3 - range

I’ve just completed a road trip between Glasgow, Derby and Edinburgh. I was very disappointed in the range of my model 3 when driving at around 60 mph. My final charge was Scotch Corner to home, broadly 150 miles. The charge showed 250 mile range on setting off. Despite Driving around 55 to 60...

    2019/20 Orders and Deliveries [closed]

I don't know if this is a Sunday thing as it's 1 September or a regular occurrence. When I get there tomorrow I will find out and let you know. For the insurance I spoke to privilege and they were very helpful and cheap, direct line were equally helpful but the price was bonkers.

Got my 69 plate yesterday and picking up from Edinburgh tomorrow (Sunday morning). The same car (vin unchanged) from the one they wanted me to pick up on Friday 30th. On the insurance front, I tried Direct line and they were more than double Privilege.

£50K zero percent loan in Scotland

You need to sign a bank direct debit and provide the final invoice. Once you get the money you need to send a copy of your bank statement showing monies in and the payment to Tesla. Other than that very easy

£50K zero percent loan in Scotland

I also went through the EST process. Reasonably smooth, took around six weeks from application to monies hitting my bank account. Definitely worth using and not too onerous a process.

    Delivery chaos continues

I revived that call yesterday. The main point was that they will try to get the invoice to me in plenty of time before delivery.
