My undercarriage ripped, hanging down causing an awful noise. Took it to Tesla (mileage around 800), They cured the noise by removing the piece. If I wanted it replaced £150 and wouldn't cover it on the warranty. Not the best customer service.

On the journey I described the last 150 miles was straight off the A1 to the supercharger to put in around 200 miles of charge to get to 250. Is there anything I could have done in that scenario to improve the range prior to charging?

My normal drive is 70 miles a day and the Tesla is ideal. For the longer journey (about one a fortnight) I’ll be in a less efficient (mpg wise) ICE but expect to save about 5 hours of my own time. getting home at 9pm as opposed to 2am makes a massive difference

I did around 650 miles yesterday in 14 hours with 5 supercharger stops. It’s so much less efficient than my other ICE cars and I can’t carry on drinking this amount of coffee on a daily basis.

I have my insurance with Privilege. Started on 1 September for a model 3. Half the price of the quote from Direct Line.

Got my 69 plate yesterday and picking up from Edinburgh tomorrow (Sunday morning). The same car (vin unchanged) from the one they wanted me to pick up on Friday 30th. On the insurance front, I tried Direct line and they were more than double Privilege.

You need to sign a bank direct debit and provide the final invoice. Once you get the money you need to send a copy of your bank statement showing monies in and the payment to Tesla. Other than that very easy

I also went through the EST process. Reasonably smooth, took around six weeks from application to monies hitting my bank account. Definitely worth using and not too onerous a process.

And you get an extra £300 to install your home charging point

I said no and they came back with a delivery date two days later which means it’s a 69 plate. No new invoice so same car as same VIN.

Delivery now confirmed for 1 September on a 69 plate. Monies paid, charger installed, fingers crossed.

Just had a text booking appointment for 30th August. This was after having a text saying delivery 12 to 22 August. Replied No, waiting on 69 plate.

My original order number on my first invoice was 66xx now on final invoice 2 it’s 90xx

I revived that call yesterday. The main point was that they will try to get the invoice to me in plenty of time before delivery.
