I’ve been told by a Tesla service tech to not install a power lift gate. Apparently it messes with the canbus or the electric system over time. The lift gate can also mess with the alignment of your trunk. This is just what I’ve been told by a Tesla tech, so he may have been biased.

I’d highly recommend you buy trunk/ frunk mats. I’m pretty sure the Model 3 doesn’t come with them.

I was having this issue as well. A Tesla service tech came to look at my car too make sure it was nothing out of the ordinary but I was basically told the exact same thing as you. I know it sucks that we have to deal with inconveniences and annoyances like this, but at least Tesla sold us one...

I had a wall outlet installed by my electrician, and it was inspected at the time it was installed but I was just planning on having my electrician hook up the Tesla wall connector(charger?) and getting the rebate would I still be eligible for this?

Do you need a municipal inspector to come and take a look at it or a BC Hydro inspector?

I got the same email from the same delivery advisor LOL, I picked my car up on June 22nd but still unsure of how Tesla will apply for 2000.00 credit. I hope someone acts on this fast as CEVforBC said that the 2000 can only be reimbursed within 14 days of taking delivery.
