I have a much later update than 48.12. (48.37?) and I still get the erroneous notifications. Very frustrating in the middle of a rain for example and you go to your car and the windows are all tightly in place. Come on Tesla fix it.

I would say with my own personal experience its way more than one person...and seeing the number of times customer service is discussed throughout this forum, its prevalent with Tesla... not isolated....Love my car but their customer service really lacks!

As much as we pay for these vehicles Tesla's customer service "bedside manner" really lacks anything remotely close to good customer service. Even trying to connect to a service center is a pain too that shouldn't happen. Glad to see however that Tesla will be investing in more service centers!

Similar thing happened to me in my 2015 S with 38,000 mi. Got a warning “car may not restart, service immediately”. Same here had the 12v changed out back in February. Come find out I needed a new main battery. Replaced under warranty.

I like the Bridgestone Drive Guard, Run-flat tires. I've had two sets and they've given me great service, and even when they did go flat. Worked real well until I could get to a location to service the Model S which is another story...Teranza Serenity Plus if your not worried about flat tires...

Last two times I've tried charging to 100% (For a trip) my car only indicates a charge up to 98%. Anyone know why that might be the case? Thanks.

I'm assuming to calculate degradation as a percentage is simply converting from percentage to mile on the cars range? Simple math then to subtract the miles noted today from the new car capacity provided when it was new? Otherwise how would one calculate degradation of the battery? I have a 2015...
