    California Window tint enforced?

My original post clearly says > I would like to get 70%VLT on front windshield and 35% VLT on the front 2 windows. Those are untinted.

    California Window tint enforced?

With 35% tint, you can very clearly see the other drivers and everything outside. Others can see me too. Getting the tint for UV protection and heat rejection, not for hiding

    Rear passenger window exploded.

Did Tesla ultimately cover it under warranty?

Picked up my Tesla in early December, worst car I've ever owned.

It's a different style of road tripping. Over the years, for long drives, I had "conditioned" my kids to stay in the car, (maybe even sleep) for 4 hr segments because my ICE car needed fuel every 4-5 hrs. That 4hrs non-stop driving followed by a 15 min break at gas stations was the quickest way...

Red light and stop sign warning

Red light warning can also be optional. I agree with you that people need to pay attention, and most people do pay attention most of the time. However sh!t happens, maybe once every 10k-20k miles of driving, when even an otherwise attentive driver might run a stop sign. I've done it couple of...

    Red Light/Stop Sign...Autopilot (No FSD)

    Care to share the answer🤔

    Red Light/Stop Sign...Autopilot (No FSD)

    1) "Joe mode" is your friend for lowering the beep volume especially made to avoid waking up the kids. Turn it on. 2) I think you are confusing Autosteer with TACC... I drive on Autosteer (basic AP) and whenever I give a hard turn signal, the Autosteer disengages _(the 2blue lines marking my...

EVs are not low temperature cars. So you buying M3P for cold weather driving doesn't make sense.

    Red Light/Stop Sign...Autopilot (No FSD)

What's the upside to a "normal" cruise control that you don't get in TACC? Or why wouldn't you use TACC as cruise control?

Red light and stop sign warning

I am saying that the red light warning should be standard even when NOT using the basic AP / TACC Just like the 1-ding nudge when a light turns green is standard feature available even when not using AP Let auto stopping be a FSD feature, but warning on red light/stop sign is a lifesaving...

Red light and stop sign warning

I did read the manual, but had doubts. Please read the full thread for context.

Red light and stop sign warning

I've been trying out TACC and Autosteer whenever traffic is lighter. When I meant "too chicken to try", I meant too scared to intentionally run a red light or stop sign in order to check if AP warns me or not.

Why Does EAP Brake So Late When Stopping In Traffic???

Me too, but lot of people say why use AP in city... I find Autosteer very nice for lane centering and maintaining distance in slow traffic. Only when I am approaching some stopped cars do I panick and disable auto steer

Red light and stop sign warning

Has it ever worked for you? I am too chicken to try

Red light and stop sign warning

There are red lights on most state highways. Autopilot recognizes them as highways (AP removes the +5mph hard limit that it has if you try Autosteer on city roads) and let's you go, say 9 miles over the speed limit if you so choose And that's besides the point, the point is that Tesla has the...
