Alternatives to a used Model S?

I had a pretty crappy purchase process with Tesla, but honestly, the car makes up for it. What about a a Genesis G70 3.3T or G80 3.3T. These are about $44k and $56k fully loaded, and there's not a lot of discounts on them now--I expect that to change towards the end of 2019. Great looking...

Used inventory quite low according to ev-cpo

Yep, looks like prices rose significantly. Pleasant surprise for somebody who bought it a month ago.

    Door Misalignment Warrantable?

37k miles currently. Tesla used car warranty is good for 49k more miles approximately.

Updated Model S can go from Bay Area to L.A. on a single charge

Will the software upgrades increase range on older Model S's, or only more recent ones?

    Door Misalignment Warrantable?

If I screw it up, it becomes my problem, and at that point, Tesla definitely won't fix it (nor should they).

    Door Misalignment Warrantable?

I picked up a used MS85D. The chrome trim on the front and rear passenger side doors is extremely misaligned. We took it into a service center to get a key fob repaired (one of the two I got was non-functioning) and also asked them to fix the alignment. From what I've seen on the boards, it's a...

Tesla loan comparison spreadsheet - auto updates hourly

It looks like a one-person operation processing the auto loans. They won't send the check to Tesla. They'll send it to you. You have to pay for overnight shipping if you want it delivered quickly. Make sure you have a Motor Vehicle Purchase Agreement from Tesla with the name of CCFCU on the...

By law, credit unions must require a membership. If they were to do this, they would never Rate Beat anybody's offer from a CU. Per my personal experience a week ago, they will do that. Remind them that this is not in their terms and conditions and demand they honor their Rate Beat offer.

It's nationwide. Just pay $20 to join the North Carolina Consumers Council, join the credit union ($5), and fill out the credit app. Assuming you have 730+ credit and are employed, you should be approved.

Carolina Cooperative FCU is 2.99%. It's somewhat slow--takes about two weeks, but the rates are great.

Buying CPO Tesla 85D vs 90

The sound and the suspension didn't seem like a big deal to me. I have never noticed the difference between the speakers in the crapmobile I drove as a teenager versus the Bose or other brand name sound systems, so I doubt I'll really notice the "high-fidelity" sound. The thing everybody says...

Join American Consumer Council, use that for Andrews Federal Credit Union, get a 36 month 2.14% rate, Rate Beat it with Lightstream to 2.04%. That's about as close as you'll get. With interest rates as high as they are, this isn't surprising.

Let's say you finance $50k at 3% at 60 months. You pay $3906 in interest. Let's also say your bank gives you 2.2% during those 60 months, compounded monthly. You will $5,808 in interest on that money, putting you $1900 ahead. However, that's too optimistic a view. Your interest will be taxed...

Had a good result with Lightstream it looks like. I asked for a Rate Beat on a 3%, 84 month loan. They denied it for some ticky-tack reason. I sent them a scathing email and made a few phone calls yesterday, and today, I got approved at a tenth of a point less for the same loan length, but for...

Do you mind letting me know the name of the device? Thanks.
