I actually tried charging my Model S off of my Goal Zero Yeti 3000, and it doesn’t work. The Yeti batteries don’t really have grounded outlets, and the Tesla charging adapter doesn’t like that, so it refused to even let me try when I plugged it in. Tried it out this morning, but no dice. Then, driving through Morgantown, we saw a guy walking down the street wearing a Tesla logo polo. Hmm. Wonder if he's heading over to turn it on? :-)

Yes, it was a blast. Definitely hard to consider any other EV—the Supercharger network is much of the reason Tesla is awesome. :-)

@Schlesinger183 Wow, how times have changed. We did a cross-country road trip (PA→CA & back) in November 2015, and even then we were able to use Superchargers for almost all of our charging needs. It's really pretty impressive how fast they've built out the network!

Man, I hope this opens up in the next two weeks. I'm really hoping to be able to use it on 8/19 on the way down to Charleston, WV. Looks like it's super close!
