    Supercharger - Spartanburg, SC

Any locals know if this might be open within the next couple weeks? Driving to ATL, would love to pick up a new one - and change my normal routine for the trip.

I’ve never cried over a car until today...

My Model 3 is in the shop right now with *considerably* less damage and the estimate is $7,500. This is $15-20 minimum... If he axel is in deed broken, I can't imagine the frame is straight and you'd prob want to total it.

    Video: Vandalism by Motorcylist

As a motorcyclist and a Tesla owner, I disagree with you on every level. First of all, en electric/heated sideview mirror can easily be a grand to repair and replace. So without judge or jury, the motorcyclist gets to level a $1,000 fine on the driver? In what basis of Western Law do we agree...

Go Anywhere app short hops between charging stations unnecessary?

Can you post the start/end cities? I feel like you're getting some decent advice, but not the full picture I got when I joined the Tesla Community a year ago. I own an SR+ with a rated range of 240 miles. The most I have gone on a segment is about 190 miles. In general, you start a road trip...

    Reversing camera Sepia tone

WRT color, the sensor used in the cameras on the Tesla are not the same as the sensors used in say your digital camera. I believe normally a visual camera uses 4 pickups: RGGB - Red, Green, Green, Blue The rear camera is not used for autopilot and is set up more like a regular camera. The...

    Autopilot fail with lane splitting

Not sure why the pushback there... This is a big issue for me. I travel on a lot of road that split into 2 lanes and this is a major frustartion. It's not about the OPs specific road, it's everywhere where lanes widen from 1 into 2. FTR, "lane splitting" is something motorcyclists so. Let's...

    Auto Dialing 911

Driving home this evening, tree fell directly in front of me, blocking the road, bringing power lines along with it. Was horrible thunderstorm with low vis, so was already driving manually and below speed limit so avoiding was simple, happened maybe 100' in front of me. I texted my GF when I...

Model 3 Stealth Hitches for bike racks

I had a horrible time re-installing the bumper and ended up taking it to a local Tesla certified body shop to re-install for me. Just couldn't make it happen for some reason. The other mechanical stuff was straight up easy IMHO. Get a legit torque wrench though

Lost Phone *call* audio after latest update

Press/hold 2 steering wheel buttons is a 'normal' reboot, yes, I did that. Not sure that "two steering wheel reboot" is - did you perform it twice?

Lost Phone *call* audio after latest update

Anyone else experience this? I have lost phone CALL audio - phone audio (i.e. Spotify, PocketCasts, etc) works fine. And I can INITIATE a call from the car, but neither side gets audio. If I only lost audio, but the other party could hear me, I'd think I had something "muted" by accident...

Elon Confirms that the FSD sneak peak is for car with HW3 only

Anyone wanna guess when the first "class action" lawsuit is filed?

New Mobile Software - Range on Charge Slider

So there's new software on Android and I believe iOS. When you go to the charge screen and slide the amount of charge you desire, it tells you the miles to expect. I think there's a big educational piece missing. I hope... I have an SR+, 7 months old, about 8k miles. When I slide it to...

MASTER THREAD: Powering house or other things with Model 3

I don't understand the issue here. During Hurricane/Super Storm Sandy, I used a power inverter on my SUV to power my sump pump and some lights. I'd run off the car (12v) battery for a while, then turn it on to recharge, etc. I would think one could do this off the Tesla without the need to...
