yeah GREAT community if you had not banned this nice individual a few days ago. Shame on you!

Using TM-Spy to see Model S data.

yes me too. Is there any website, or collection of data which adapter I really can buy without worries. How to solder what and where? etc.

I think my car is lying to me...

What was your dotted power limit before you put it into OFF state? I get dotted lines at 250kW at about 12% left and less than 100kW at about 3%. Power limit below 80kW means the car may shut down at any time after that. (Tesla Bjorn)

Tesla Wall Connector load sharing protocol

in case anyone cares, I fixed my missing inverter host by night and json key errors when it is just dark outside with some try/except statements. it is horrendous, but working as it seems. add this to the imports on top: import requests from requests.exceptions import ConnectionError and this...

Tesla Wall Connector load sharing protocol

Yes thats correct. You will need to multiply them by 3. The minimum charge rate would be 6A * 230V * 3 = 4.1kW. Since my solar roof does not cope this most of the time, I just switched off 2 of the 3 breakers for the TWC in my junction box in the house. This way I can charge from 6A * 230V =...

    2016 Model S 75 - Deafening Sound while Charging

I had mine run the fans while charging at the house. but it was 20 times more silent. you would need to get close to even hear it. I can hear the pumps while charging all the time though.

Model S - HPWC (High Power Wall Connector)

yes it takes 22kW just to heat one shower. in germany thats quite common. they pump 3 phases x240V with 32A each into it, et voila: 22kW

Tesla Wall Connector load sharing protocol

Hi gingerbeer. Thank you for your question. I must say that I do not follow the used current for my charging habits. My power draw for the house is pretty much stable at a 200W all the time. (except when cooking) I switch charging off, or reduce the charging speed manually at this time. cdragon...

    TeslaFi.com

28A*3phases = 84A. TeslaFi tells me on my 3*16A the same calculation. I think this is viable. I also think that your cabling may be a bit weak and you loose a lot of power with those 32A currents with heating the cables. What does it tell, if you just try to charge at 16A instead of 32A? might...

Tesla Wall Connector load sharing protocol

I get problems when the inverter shuts down at night and the network ip is unreachable. The script fails at this time and is no longer functional. I could come up with the solution of checking the reachability of the inverter with the module "tcping", but I am unsure if that is really needed...

Tesla Wall Connector load sharing protocol

Finally I got my PV installed end of the week and all of this starting to make real sense now. I need to thank cdragon again and again, because I could never figure out the script on my own! I Modified the script to work with my Fronius Symo 7.0-3-M. This inverter has a builtin network...

    2013 P85, 60K miles, 238 max range?

you hurt the battery more than doing anything good! its just for your giggles, but nothing more. every longer stay at 100% or every drain to 0% will hurt the battery. Just let it stay between 30 and 70 ALL THE TIME, and be happy to have a working car in 5 more years. If you want to see it break...

    Batterty down to -5%

I have been at -4% when my car was new two years ago.

Tesla Wall Connector load sharing protocol

I want to add something to that, if thats ok: I observed something that might be interesting for some: EU chargers (of pre face lift cars) are capped at 16A*3*230V = 11kW. Thats common ground. But IF I set up 16A in the GUI the system charges actually at about 15.7A*3*230V (reported by...

Tesla Wall Connector load sharing protocol

For Nederlands, Swiss, Germany, Austria and (I guess many more) 3 phases Power is standard for homes and offices. My house has 32A *230V *3 phases = 22.080W max. Yes, it's just that easy to calculate. What you see here is the voltage from the 3 phases (like L1 to N) to the middle neutral = 230V...
