what PSI do you inflate your tires to

Almost nothing. I'm averaging 176wh/km (281 wh/m) over the last 6000km since putting on the larger tires. Previously on stock I was averaging around 170 wh/km - so the difference is about 6 wh/k (10 wh/m).

what PSI do you inflate your tires to

36 PSI all around on my MYP because 42PSI is a stupidly high pressure to run on road tires and unnecessary. I've also moved from the stock 255/35/21 / 275/35/21 tires to larger 275/35/21 and 295/35/21 tires which have higher load ratings. These actually have the same load rating at 35psi as...

Model Y Performance - what are you guys at Wh/mi?

    2023 MY Performance with wider 275/35/21 and 295/35/21 tires. 50/50 highway/local streets. Averaging 275 wh/m.

32 Amp Single Phase UMC Charging - Current Dropping

Thanks for the info. So I believe I've identified the issue. I bought one of these for my UMC tail: Tesla Gen2 Mobile Connector Adaptor - EVchargers - EV cables and adaptors On that page - they say the following: "This adaptor has an internal circuit that monitors the plug temperature and...

32 Amp Single Phase UMC Charging - Current Dropping

Voltage drops from around 234v no load down to 222v under load at 32a. Total cable length (including an estimate for in-wall cabling from the switchboard to the socket) is around 16m. Cabling has been done with 6mm cabling. Using an online voltage drop calculator, it gives a theoretical...

32 Amp Single Phase UMC Charging - Current Dropping

I recently had a 32amp single phase socket installed and purchased a 32amp tail for my Tesla UMC charger. The socket is wired directly into a dedicated circuit with its own RCBO. It's been working great - part from the fact that if the current is set to 32a - then it drops down to 16a after...

    Australian Model Y Waiting Room

Ordered a MY Performance on 21 July, picking up on 16 August. Safe to say there are no supply issues with the Performance models.

Model 3 Performance Average Consumption Improvements?

I've got a 2021 (so bit different and with the heatpump), but my longterm average is 160 wh/km. That's with plenty of spirited driving, highway cruising and stop and go traffic. Haven't noticed any difference caused by software updates. Biggest difference for me is actually temperature related...

    Tinting of Model 3

The rear windows are dyed - not tinted. They don't have any heat rejection. So yes - if you want heat reduction you'll need to get all the windows tinted (preferably ceramic or crystalline to maximise heat reduction). The roof glass is treated to block UV and reduce heat.

    Tinting of Model 3

The rear side windows of the M3 aren't darkened from factory at all unlike the MY. So no - not possible to just tint the front side windows to match the back. For what it's worth, I originally head only the side windows tinted and it irritated me as a lot of heat and light came in via the rear...
